Thanks for encouraging me that there were other ways to do things rather then the long and hard way entertaining as they are. Suddenly we get another Apple Jack feeling XD.
@@lightning-bliss i thought that both of you where awesome in the video. and it made my rainy day with a rainbow with a real big smile on my face. Having pizza for lunch then fish for dinner and apple pie for after dinner with a cup of coffee.
I suppose what would've made the episode worse would be if Rainbow Dash threw Twilight under the bus saying that it was her fault that the squad couldn't get through a routine. Y'know, saying "If you hadn't forced me to be their coach, this never would've happened", that sort of thing.
Rainbow is my favorite for many reasons. This episode was very worrying for me. The reasons you said this episode didn't work made a lot of sense. Glad she isn't always like this.
What bothers me about this episode is how it ignores the fact Rainbow has basically been a natural Cheer Leader, encouraging others to take action, getting others pumped up for some important tasks, etc. So either the writers forgot or their implying that Rainbow is even more oblivious than we thought to her own actions.
Glad to see another review from you Mrs. Lightning Bliss I've missed them. Not to say I don't enjoy your other projects I still go back and watch them time and time again. I hope just because gen 4 is now over that you won't give up on making anymore amazing content. Can't wait for the next one but hope you and sub zero are doing alright as well ^^
My issue here is that Twilight knew Dash didn't want to teach Cheering and actively did not care about it. And yet made her be in charge of it at these children's expense purely to learn a lesson.
You know I had teacher like that once. For two whole years I had to endure my Math teacher, whom had real toxic personality. He had no passion what so ever. Except maybe to scold students how stupid they were for not understanding (in his mind) what was so simple and obvious when none in the class could either answer or gave a wrong one. (Of course that only happened when he rarely took the effort to do such things in the first place.) Where I live our education has two different types of mathematics teachings. After the 1st year with this teacher 7 out of the 8 students of all the classes switched to other teaching so they wouldn't had to face that guy.
Ironically, math people should not teach math. It is difficult if not impossible for them to slow it down and break it down enough for those that don't intuitively get math to understand and it just frustrates everybody involved. Additionally, there are some personalities simply not suited for teaching. Sorry to hear your story, but you aren't the only one to have a bad teacher in one subject or another.
@@travissmith2848 This is the most idiotic insinuation I have ever heard. You can't put people who have no logical basis to teach maths. Thats fuckin' retarded. More so, every teacher in that basis, from maths, to add maths, to physics, to comp sci and now, my degree were the same. They were hard on us, if we fucked up, we were called out. However that's how you learn. Logic does not abide by petty emotions. And my teachers were great, because they didn't care for it, nor did they care if they offended someone.
I feel who ever wrote rainbow dash in this episode don’t know her personality or don’t know how to write her or both I look up for my teachers like idols cause they teach me good lessons and even I’m sewing in class they understand cause I want to be a seamstress but I also sew cause I get nervous and seeing rainbow act like this feels like my old substitute teacher hurt my self-steam and told me “you won’t be nothing in the future cause your a dunce” I was just 7 years old when she said that and broke my heart completely When saw that episode Rainbow reminded me of her and it hurt a lot
aww, DrWolf roasting is kinda adorable. But yeah, in sincerity that would have been a terrible thing to say that also generally inhibits the team spirit RD generally tends to stand for.
Lightning Bliss is a heart-on-her-sleeve optimist. Dr. Wolf is known for keeping a level head and even temper. If your work earns _their_ collective disdain, then you done ****ed up.
I'm sorry when Dr. Wolf tried to sound mean or condescending I just lost it with laughter. Dr. Wolf being mean? That's like seeing a Mountain lion go vegan! LOL!
Battle Cross May I point you to where the times when he’s been STRICT to others, and that is very much scary when he’s tone deepening and his gaze goes from soft to scowling. That made a marine veteran apologize for his behavior in “HearthsBreakers”. In “Forever Young” he literally threatened to do something bad to ONE OF HIS FRIENDS if they woke up Lighting Bliss who was a sleeping baby in that video, he even gave Firebrand a glare in another episode. There’s many times when Dr Wolf got strict and it’s scary when his tone deepens and he gives you a glare, and it’s because you f’ed up so bad that his patience was wearing thin. I’m sorry, I know that being mean and being strict isn’t the same, but being strict can come off as mean.
I can honestly remember when I was in high school I had a math teacher who yelled at me for always been awful with math (Math was never my strong suit anyway) Even though I did the best I could in that subject she still yelled at me and said “you’re not doing your best! You’re awful with that subject! How dare you say your doing your best when you’re not!” It was so bad I was literally shedding tears right in front of her. It was so bad I had to go to the nurses office because I was a sobbing mess. Even today I use a calculator to do my math. So yeah this episode is such an ugly episode, because Rainbow Dash’s behavior in that episode reminded me of my high school math teacher. At least she learned a lesson.
This is a great review with very good points. If having less editing in your reviews helps make your working schedule less hectic in any way, I don't mind this method at all. Keep up the good work ^w^
My sister found this episode personally offensive. She did color guard in high school, who go on at the same time as cheerleaders during games. Both go to their own competitions and not only build hype for the teams, but allow the teams to take a break during half-time and recover their energy.
Well done Bilss! Yes, this style of review is lighter on animation, but it sets out to do what you wanted to accomplish! We click on a review to hear your thoughts, not for the animation.
It's nice to hear your thoughts on an episode again, Ms Bliss! Your episode analyses are what originally drew me to your channel: hearing others' perspectives on MLP (including Generation 1!) and other media is quite enjoyable, regardless of emphasis on animation or talking points, but most especially the more constructive and thought-provoking perspectives presented on channels such as yours and Dr Wolf's.
I think this episode is important tbh even if people dislike it. Any asshole adults watching the show. It’d help them. Any kids watching it. Shows these adults exist and possibly how to handle them.
One thing will said: "This is a troll episode brought you by Hasbro." They used the same formula with Honest Apple except here did better, the main problem I blame Twilight for this to happen in the first. This only my second least favorite episode, my least favorite one is A Trivial Pursuit; because Twilight Dorkkle is being a poor sport in that episode. No offense guys, that little nickname I gave Twilight to tease her.
You pointed out at the start how dash was in earlier episodes. To which I agree. That's why I don't count this as a RD episode. "It's a changeling!" Other than the fake dash. Not bad.
Yeah, definitely not my most favorite episode. Rainbow kind of felt OOC for me because of how she acted, and Yona and Ocellus crying didn’t help either in her case.
I like this style. I love the funny skit thing too, but i get that those take a long time so if it means less stress for you, this is just fine. Also the background art was awesome.
I love your animations (staccato as though they may be) and the mini stories you work in are always good for a simile. However, it is your thoughts and passion that really carry your reviews and this format was quite enjoyable. Don't give up on the other, but if this lets you embrace your passion for sharing your thoughts and allows you to do so more frequently and fully I say go for it. Quality work.
This episode seems like a "The grass is always greener" type of situation. Dash was told she was going to be a coach. So, she assumed that meant being a Buckball coach, but instead she is placed in a position that she didn't desire. This this prompts Rainbow Dash to desire the job she wants, and makes her disinterested in the job she has, i.e. the grass is always greener scenario. Not realizing that with time and effort she can have the same feeling and just as amazing team if she stopped to take a chance. Your grass can be just as green as the other side if you put in the effort and time to make it look just as desirable.
I don't mind the more straight forward review. I watch to hear your thoughts after all. If this new style means I can hear your opinions more often and still get your interesting skits in seperate videos, I'm all for it
When thinking of this episode, it sort of reminds me of a thing that happend to mea many years ago when i was in school. In short terms: During a class in school, we had the task of making trailers based on a book, such as dante's inferno or Tristan and Iseult. We were in groups of three and for me group, we thought of doing Dante. We had a role each and it was fine. But i talked with the two in my group and suggested in having two roles instead to kinda make the trailer a bit better and feel more full so to speak. They didn't really seem intrested in it. Skipping a few things as i don't remember much of it, but seemly we maybe argued or something, wich led to the teacher coming to us. And he then told ME that I can not force anyone into doing something. Wich is something I know already as forcing someone is not part of my nature. So small bickering betweeen me and the teacher led to me startying to cry a little due to the anger. When that happend, my teacher told me that, the next time i would be like this (as in crying) i would leave the classroom, go to the nearest mirror and see how ridiculous i looked. This made me leave school for the day needless to day, but to have a teacher telling you all of this......i can't express with words how angry and sad i got over it. We tried to clear it up later on with one of my home room teachers aswell as the school psyactris (sorta i guess you could say that) but if i remember, the teacher (not home room teacher but the other one) tried to deny it happening and him saying that. That way, it reminds me of what Dash did here in this episode and how i connect to both Yona and Ocellus.
I'm just disappointed that we didn't get to hear that cheer a few more times. Because I love hearing that cheer over and over and over again! I put that song on a loop that will never end!
rd was bad at this episode, she the pony who do anything for her dream, but when they want to do their dream, she shot them down basically saying' you only there to be pretty'
gina Festa now while I like the episode I can agree with you that Rainbow Dash was a scum bag it’s probably worse than what Aizawa did in that one episode of My Hero Academia say what you will but he did it to bring out the students potential
To be honest, I dislike just about every episode, slowly starting at season 7, and going all the way til the last season. The Friendship School was dumb, really dumb, also didn't Celestia say friendship can't be taught? I really feel the show went downhill. Also, The Last Problem really wasn't great. They did not need to show them old, and the fact that Twilight looks like Celestia just seems lazy. I would've been more amazed if Twilight would have looked like Twilight, and not a fan made Celestia recolor.
6:57 Not to mention that she's saying that after a Changeling said that to her, so be ready to throw in some casual racism as well! Come on, writers, this is despicable!
"Don't talk to me till after coffee" is like me not wanting to be talked to until after I have had my soda.Edit: oh heck just listening to this is remaining me more and more of my art teacher. He was always a jerk towards me and one of my pegasister friends that I had at the school that I went. During one project we had to draw an animal for a printing project. I decided to draw my dragon-unicorn oc Glimmer. The jerk of a teacher came up beside me, took my pencil, eased the horn that I had drawn and DREW on my drawing! I didn't found out until later on how disrespectful it was and how wrong it was of him to do so.
This episode seemed more like some weird prank than a story. If Dash treated her students this badly all the time, she would have gotten bounced out of the school ages ago. Keep doing review episodes when you can. This one worked fine.
These kind of reviews I do like for a few reasons. Like it'll take less time to animate like you said, you can review episodes again and it won't cause you to put your head or hands in the freezer to cool down.
I get why you dislike this one. Though as to RD not caring about cheer squad despite the past, she's very into cheering or being cheered for, true. What she doesn't get is needing to have a whole crew trying to coax ponies into cheering, to her they'd be pointless, why would she need help in getting hyped? To her, either the ponies on the field are so awesome you'd be cheering anyway, and if they aren't that awesome, why would you care or spend time watching them? And RD has a consistent issue with empathizing with other's PoV's without some form of personal experience that directly relates to what they are dealing with. She has a hard time not defaulting to how she feels about something, is how everypony feels about that thing. Add in already being in a bad mood, I can see her being even more oblivious and uncaring then usual, sometimes people just have really bad days that make them act badly. That said, yeah for a teacher to be doing this is just flat wrong, which was made clear, but it also goes to show how the Mane 6...really aren't good teachers. None of them really sought out this type of job, they just got tossed into it with no training or anything, just "School's open, get in the classroom and teach." Baring Twilight, none of the rest have any real idea how this should work and are just muddling through the best they can.
Oh, and also! Do really like this style, by all means do more of this, while your animation is always great, it's worth having more limited animation for your thoughts on this stuff if it's easier on you!
You took what I was thinking and said it masterfully I have a hobby origami when I made a crane for my eldest niece six at the time she asked me to teach her so I showed her she got frustrated at her crane not looking pretty like mine but I kept it because she never try further if she was discouraged and while it’s not a hobby to her she’s told me it was some of her favorite memories she’s entering high school soon so dash behavior really upset me especially since I also had teachers discourage me on things that I never wanted to do them again
Personally, I have a bunch of experiences teaching because I'm one of the senior members of my Young Marine unit, and a second degree black belt. So, I get a lot of time in teaching anything from drill movements, to anti drug PowerPoints, to martial arts forms. And through it, it is a struggle not to project the high standards I have set for myself upon these 8 year olds or(for the martial arts) kids as young as 3 or 4 years old. And Blissy is right when you have a kid that's brain doesn't work quite the same it's not easy to teach them, but (thankfully) I'm in a similar boat because of my ADHD so when I'm told "Get creative if you have to" I tend to turn things into games in order to teach them.
During the segment where you were talking about Rainbow’s behavior towards the students, I had the same experience with a teacher of mine from high school. I wasn’t doing my best at the time and I was really trying to bring my grades up so I wouldn’t fail and killed me if I ever disappointed my teachers, I had serious depression and I hardly got any sleep and one day I was in one of my classes my teacher asked me to come to her desk to talking about my failing grades and I told her that I was trying hard to make them up and she said something that broke me, she said “Go back to your seat, I can’t even look at you.” I was dealing with depression and when she said that I felt broken, useless, and a waste of everyone’s time and I even thought of taking my own life because I felt like I was nothing to nobody that they shouldn’t have to deal with me because of how much of a failure I was, but I had my friends and my family that knew I could conquer anything if I put my mind to it and fight depression and eventually somehow graduated high school but now I’m still here with the people I love and with the ones I look up to like you Lightning Bliss. Thank you for bringing light into the darkness you’re amazing and I hope you’re future is bright and wonderful.
I like this style of reviewing! While it's cool when you do go all out, it's really not necessary, and with your heavy workload, this might be a better way to go. Also, I could tell that Doc was just acting, as those insults didn't really sound all that sincere (which might be a good thing).
You put a lot of effort into your videos and they are amazing! However it’s perfectly fine to do a simpler style of things when you wanna do fun review videos! It doesn’t always need a side story with the review. While those are fun, most people come to a review for your thoughts. And side story pieces for character development, like your magic lessons, are where you could pour more effort into those because they are story driven :) we watch the reviews for input. We watch the stories for stories. We come here, for you! We love you and wanna see your content, but not at the expense if you burning out. So do things how you feel most comfortable, and we’ll still be here :)
It's always good to be able to speak your mind about things. honestly when I watched this episode I was ashamed of Rainbow Dash and of the writer who thought this was a good idea. Rainbow Dash has grown throughout the series, or at least she was meant to, but in the end she turned out to be quite the bad person. and yes you can say it was the writer's fault. but this is something Rainbow Dash has always done. Rainbow Dash deep down is selfish. she isn't the worst of them of course but it's always been her major flaw. "Loyalty" just doesn't fit her as she tends to do things for herself more then represent the element of loyalty.
" I was ashamed of Rainbow Dash and of the writer who thought this was a good idea." Woa woa woa! I must insist to stop you right there. Please never accuse or be disrespectful to the writers of MLP or any show for that matter. There are a lot of writers that will work on an episode and sadly they do NOT always get a say in how an episode should go. Sometimes they have to knuckle down and follow what the Company wants them to write, and follow their agenda. But never assume the writers are intentionally trying to ruin an episode or a character or a show in general. They are people with jobs and deadlines after all, so please be considerate of that in the future okay? It's okay not to like an episode, heck I just gave my thoughts in there as to why. You never will hear me in my review though saying "The writer should be ashamed" or "the writer did a bad job" absolutely not! Writers for a television show have to follow their company protocols and do not always have flexibility in what happens in a script or story again, to assume such things is ignorant on our part. We don't know what they are going through or what their process is, but we can still give feedback on the episode in general without having to shun or bash the people behind it. Thank you for reading!
@@lightning-bliss Sorry I worded that wrong. Hasbro has something amazing to work with in mlp. The problem I have is that every episode feels like there is a different writer for each episode and their new to the series and didn't even bother to read up on the characters. So yes it most likely is hasbro doing it but as a fan of mlp I felt like there was a lot of missed potential and mixed signals.
@@Xboxrose Again there are a LOT of writers on the project, and have to do what the Company wants them, whether they are new or not is beside the point. Cut them a little slack. XD
@@lightning-bliss I grew quite attached to Fluttershy, I was able to relate to her in a lot of ways. Shyness getting angry easily. Having a dream that was hard to work on. But I had friends who helped me. Then they changed her dream to singer to animal maid. She got over that shyness and changed to a person that I couldn't relate to anymore. How can I cut them some slack when they have changed her so much? I understand growth but I loved seeing that shy girl. If the writers didn't change her then who did? I think the writers are at the very least part of the problem. Just like the episode fame and misfortune. The writer wrote the story for that episode bashing the fans. Then he regretted it and tried to change it and Hasbro would not let him. However my point is that he wrote the insulting script at all. If he didn't feel some sort of negative way towards the fans that idea wouldn't have happened at all. So who is to blame for such a hurtful episode. Both of them of you ask me
I have issues with trying to make things I drawl perfect, I drawl WWII tanks and I try making them look similar to real life tank but I cant get the length or perspective right considering I draw it in the 3rd dimension
why not LIGHNING BLISS and slaver and DR WOLF had workings with founter when each had made a teams and bases too if you 3 were to doing it now and not let fire band into it .
Yeah, Rainbow Dash kinds became worst pony for me after this, I've had one to many teachers who just didn't care to help me out, or put me down because I didn't do something just right or I did it right but in my own way that worked for me better than how they where doing it.
The only thing good about that episode was the song at the end, which I do stomp my feet to. This episode was handled poorly, and while the lesson was important... it still kind of was crushing to watch and hit home. And I agree with Bliss, what would happen if a teacher/someone you look up to told you what Rainbow did? Well, if I was told this, which sadly I was once or twice.. I gave up on my dreams and felt like the dreams were worthless. Now I am pursuing my dreams but that threw me off for a long time and got into things I wasn't into. So I say this: Follow your dreams or as Bliss says: Follow those rainbows!
I want to try to defend Dash for a second as I see a lot of reviews take the viewpoint of the students and not Dash herself. Using your example of how you don't enjoy accounting but respect Dr. Wolf ability to enjoy doing it.But lets say you have a job and your superior tells you to do accounting. You inform them that you aren't interested in doing it and there are others likely better suited to do it, but they insist that you do it. How do you think it will turn out? You'll be forced to do something you don't like to do, and there is a chance your work will suffer for it. That's my big issue with this. Twilight picked Dash to do this and did so to teach Dash a lesson. When Dash was telling Twilight why it was likely a bad idea for her to do it, Twilight says "tough luck, I want you to do it". Twilight pretty much expected Dash to do all that so she can learn (because as the Zombie episode shows, Dash REALLY needs a hands on lesson) which pretty much meant she used her students to teach Dash. And no one blames her for Celestiaing Dash. She is as responsible if not more so for what Dash did to said students. Because it wasn't volunteering, it was a demand. Which is why I think this episode would have worked better if the focus was on the students, not the teacher. Have them want to create a cheer squad, find out that the game is coming and they need work. Make it focus on them and not on Dash. In fact, make them come to Dash for help, feeding her ego instead of forcing her to coach.
Well no, Rainbow never gave a reason for Twilight's decision being bad. She at first said she wanted to do something "important", and then started mocking Cheerleading. Rainbow didn't say "Oh I'm bad at cheerleading, I wouldn't be a good teacher" she was like "Pfft. Are you kidding, I'm way too good at the sport to teach people how to cheer!!" In fact at the end of the episode it showed that when Dash tried, she was a fantastic teacher. Twilight Celestia'd Dash once she saw that Dash cared so little about Cheerleading she openly mocked it and anyone who wanted to preform. Which also leads to your example being wrong as well. This would be the superior saying "Hey, I know you have a current job you like doing, but I need you to teach these new interns accounting." and you going, "Pfff! They're wasting their time! Who cares about accounting? No one wants to be in the accounting office because they just crunch data all day." despite the fact you know how to crunch numbers and do impressive calculations on your own even though you don't know the exact specifics of accounting.
I’m COMPLETELY with you on this aspect!! No one likes being forced in a position they don’t wanna be in and I don’t blame Rainbow Dash for not really enjoying herself. It doesn’t excuse her treatment of the students but I could definitely understand why she wants a way out and everyone forcing her in a position she doesn’t wanna be in isn’t helping the matter!!
Even though I haven’t seen this episode yet But I understand what you mean lightning I too have been put down by the adult world sometimes I feel like that some people don’t even care and even though I’m 23 years old I would never want anyone to suffer the way I suffered.
SO glad I missed this episode for the reviews to help me avoid this episode further, and God forbid there's more of people behaving like Rainbow Dash in that episode too.
I think the difference between your example of not being interested in something and Dash's attitude is that Dash wasn't just disinterested, she genuinely looked down on it (though as you pointed out, as a contrivance for the episode). You may not be interested in accounting, but you obviously see its value as a way of helping saving money. You may not be into drawing monsters, but you're not one of those sticks in the mud that thinks there's something wrong with a kid being interested in scary things. Dash on the other hand actively disliked or was at least unable to see the value in cheerleading. Like, I dunno, imagine Goldenfox trying to teach a class on cringe comedy. I don't think he'd act like Rainbow Dash, but that seems like it'd have been a better example than just stuff you don't find interesting.
Hi Lightning Bliss. I kinda have a request; I know I am new and you may not consider this just want to put it out there. If you need more stuff to review or something, I was thinking have you reviewed the MLP movie, Equestria girls, or that one episode animated like the movie. Or how about Netflix’s She ra, I have opinions to share about that show.
If the Mane 6 with the acception of Starlight in this world represents The 7 Deadly Sins I can see what fits Rainbow Dash that being Pride on her worst traits in being more self absorb or not doing any achievements unless they benift her with glory but also having complete arrogance in shoving there talks in being all bark and no bite..but I think episode would of worked alot more better if it was more taking the style from the movie School of Rock in have Rainbow Dash being a lackluster substitute teacher on a archtype she have little experience with at 1st and take inspiration to what she have seen on the students as well look into books and other cheerleaders to help the cheerleading squad be trained in making new dance moves that will make the sand out above the crowd
I have only a few words about this and it's this, " Amongs individuals, as amongs nations, respect for the rights of others is peace." - President of Mexico Benito Juarez.
I do love Rainbow Dash but I don’t really don’t like her bad side when she being a jerk well at least she learns lessons. I also know how you feel blissy sometimes I have a few pickle by making videos myself By having ideas By watching movies when once you get the idea! It will becomes great!! But the great work buddy! I cannot wait to see more videos!!! You’re invited to the wedding anniversary of DaWillstanator and midnight sonata!! Including traveling back in time to see baby Jesus! And so much more!
It's bad writing here. No continuity with Rainbow Dash literally teaching how to cheer before, and Twilight being a manipulative female of canine persuasion.
Herman Cillo true At least she learned her lessons in every episode she can still be aggressive sometimes but I don’t blame her or the The rest of the mane 6 when they go into a bad mode By each other including the CMC or any other pony including discord. But wait until you see the equestrian warriors my version of the main 6 will have their personalities from the show but things are going to be a little bit different For starters for My comic series equestrian warriors mane 6 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Twilight sparkle: she’s just like Twilight from the show Kinda, but let’s just say sometimes she cannot take things very too easily but she’s so smart and egg head like from the show and including PTSD and medical issues when she saw the roar of the elders she eventually she freak out when she find out that her teacher was a human and a half pony trying to find answers about what was going on she is filled with honor and will do anything to help out. She has a lot to learn to become a great leader and the Warrior of magic! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~(i’m still working on her personality you’ll find out on the series) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Applejack She and her family adopted me when I first arrived to their world they took pity on me because they didn’t want me to leave and stay in the everfree forest with those outsiders made me as part of the family including being not overprotective over her friends or family including me including trusting new or old friends. And always honest to others The Warrior of honesty ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fluttershy She is shy, kind, loves animals she and her family worked in the animal sanctuary/zoo for animals in need me and her teach each other how to take care of animals! Even comment to her young age she discovers animals every day even a new species when she will meet the flutter Fillies she got a little bit confused and scared but with a little help from the princesses to tell her and her friends about metamorphosis she met some brand new friends. The warrior of kindness ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Pinkie pie she and her family won’t be living on the rock farm it will be a circus bakery family pinkie pie will have lots of cousins nephews nieces and brothers and sisters and they are all love to party she is always energetic and always make me smile all the time she will also have a powerful pinky sense big really fast and party really hard!!! And she is the warrior of laughter ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rarity she learns how to be creative through her styles of fashion she lives Canterlot then move to Ponyville and she is always generous to others and always help with my styles in fashion too including truly understand what was happening in situations and help anyway she can . the warrior of generosity ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rainbow Dash: will never give up & make it up for her mistyakes and even get scared sometimes and she will also learn her lessons and won’t be a jerk to the CMC or any other pony specially discord she can go a little extreme over her fight techniques while I train her. And always be there by our side no matter what her mom and Aunt are wonder bolts someday she will follow their footsteps to become a wonderbolt!! She is the warrior of loyalty ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
ok, this is the first time ive seen one of your review videos in a while so im just gonna comment it here why are the fans better at character designs than the show itself, it legitimately feels like with enough practice, time, and money the fans could make an mlp g4 series that would put the official show to shame, i love the offical show, it just felt bland with the designs (especially since the ammount of main characters that are original, is 2 out of the 6, and that probably isnt as accurate as i think it is
Yeah, this episode rubbed me the wrong way. I felt so bad for the kids that I wanted to peg Twilight as the bad guy for choosing Rainbow Dash over someone who would've been more fitting for this task. Rainbow Dash was not cool, at all. And it broke my heart to see the kids run off crying. But Smolder was amazing in this episode for scolding Rainbow for her poor attitude in what they were trying to do. I wouldn't watch this episode again, but it did have some good moments.
Bliss, you watched drwolf001's video about Coppa, did you? You're a cute little alicorn with rainbow magic, but you also have a bunch of characters such as Firebrand who swears a lot. Please mark your videos as either a kid's content or not.
I'm so very glad that you got your thoughts out there Blissy :) I have no doubt your words will inspire others for years to come.
Thanks for you❗️🤗
The ONLY way I can square this episode with Dashie's character is if Zephyr Breeze were making such a nuisance of himself that she was on edge.
“Don’t talk to me till after coffee” is so cute and silly at the same time!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't call her that.
You called her cute and lived!?
HOW!?
I have no idea.
I won't lie, "2, 4, 6 Great" is a terrible episode, although the cheer squad did look gorgeous in those outfits and their performance was awesome.
Someone please make a Seven Nation Army sync.
The Commenter Dragon it’s a terrible cause rainbow dash was way out of character
@@DaylightTwinkle True, but in my opinion, the cheer squads performance is just about the only part of the episode that's worth watching.

And there were no frazzits on the loose to make it plausible.
That& the cheer they did are the only good thing in this episode.
I really like these moments with Dr Wolf and Blissy
6:20 OH GOD!!!!!!
Bliss don't do that you'll give the good doc a heart attack.
(Jumps scare Warning)
Thats how you learn, emotions get in the way of logic and reasoning too many times. If the sacrifice happens to be some feelings, then so be it.
(Of course that only happened when he rarely took the effort to do such things in the first place.)
Where I live our education has two different types of mathematics teachings.
I feel who ever wrote rainbow dash in this episode don’t know her personality or don’t know how to write her or both
I look up for my teachers like idols cause they teach me good lessons and even I’m sewing in class they understand cause I want to be a seamstress but I also sew cause I get nervous and seeing rainbow act like this feels like my old substitute teacher hurt my self-steam and told me “you won’t be nothing in the future cause your a dunce” I was just 7 years old when she said that and broke my heart completely
When saw that episode Rainbow reminded me of her and it hurt a lot
aww, DrWolf roasting is kinda adorable.

LOL!
Battle Cross
May I point you to where the times when he’s been STRICT to others, and that is very much scary when he’s tone deepening and his gaze goes from soft to scowling.

When everyone finally agreed when Rainbow Dash is truly a Dash-hole.
A teacher who puts students down because they have to do things they hate every fucking teacher in my High Shcool career
Also this way is very cool, its simple and I hope less stressful for you lightning
I felt like this episode was MEANT to get under the viewer's skin, and they sure did a damn good job at making us annoyed and pissed
Really enjoyed this format. Well done :)
Not just a good critique of a bad episode, but a lot of well-considered suggestions for how to improve it. My favorite kind of review.
6:10 Ocellus should've turned herself into something that would yell a lot louder. But then that would've brought the house down...
Proportions are hard for me too, it's a huge struggle for me. But practice makes perfect or as close to perfect as I can get lol
Always enjoy your thoughts on things, Blissy
That's it, I had enough, Rainbow Trash just fell from #3 on favorite mane six list to -6000
I like this style of animating and editing bliss
I think this style of reviewing will help because you dont have to sacrifice time to other projects you have. Keep up the good work Lighting Bliss. :)
If this new style means I can hear your opinions more often and still get your interesting skits in seperate videos, I'm all for it
I swear that this is the first time I've seen Lightning Bliss' character have the head facing straight at the camera.

That reminds me of a quote I remember; If you draw something with heart and conviction then people will believe it even if it's a shitty drawing.
always good to hear your opinion no matter what format you use
All i can think of when seeing this dang episode is that one nutshell video where the two ponies go
*"Over, and over, and over, and over, and over-"*
When thinking of this episode, it sort of reminds me of a thing that happend to mea many years ago when i was in school.
Yay! More reviews from Bliss.
I'm just disappointed that we didn't get to hear that cheer a few more times. Because I love hearing that cheer over and over and over again! I put that song on a loop that will never end!

P.S. Let us remember RD coaching Fluttershy for a great cheer ;)
Review episodes help me keep up with the community and keeping up with the episodes (I dont have Netflix anymore)
I swear you could tell by season 8 they just stopped caring about making the show as amazing as it use to be
"Don't talk to me till after coffee" is like me not wanting to be talked to until after I have had my soda.Edit: oh heck just listening to this is remaining me more and more of my art teacher.
4:39 When I hear that from doc.... that just makes me physically sick... I'm glad he's not actually like that
You took what I was thinking and said it masterfully I have a hobby origami when I made a crane for my eldest niece six at the time she asked me to teach her so I showed her she got frustrated at her crane not looking pretty like mine but I kept it because she never try further if she was discouraged and while it’s not a hobby to her she’s told me it was some of her favorite memories she’s entering high school soon so dash behavior really upset me especially since I also had teachers discourage me on things that I never wanted to do them again
love the pony cheerleaders
Thank you for bringing light into the darkness you’re amazing and I hope you’re future is bright and wonderful.
love the two pony cheerleaders
Yeah, the conflict of this episode was REALLY hard to watch!

Where is non-compete clause on your worst list? Last time I binge-watched the series I thought that one stood out for discomfort.
" I was ashamed of Rainbow Dash and of the writer who thought this was a good idea."
Woa woa woa!
Both of them of you ask me
I know you'd rather not, but PG13 does allow for 1 f-bomb

SO glad I missed this episode for the reviews to help me avoid this episode further, and God forbid there's more of people behaving like Rainbow Dash in that episode too.
they should do a spin off series of the cheer squad
Now that the show’s over what will you do now?
Herman Cillo true
At least she learned her lessons in every episode she can still be aggressive sometimes
but I don’t blame her or the The rest of the mane 6 when they go into a bad mode By each other including the CMC or any other pony including discord. I don’t consider season 8 to be canon in my mind lol
At 12:05 it looks like Doctor Wolf is wearing a green hat.
ok, this is the first time ive seen one of your review videos in a while so im just gonna comment it here
why are the fans better at character designs than the show itself, it legitimately feels like with enough practice, time, and money the fans could make an mlp g4 series that would put the official show to shame, i love the offical show, it just felt bland with the designs (especially since the ammount of main characters that are original, is 2 out of the 6, and that probably isnt as accurate as i think it is
Yeah, this episode rubbed me the wrong way.
I've never liked Dash mostly for her attitude, there aren't many who can make "arrogant ass" work, but this episode just made it worse.
