i rearly use diff locks on my G . the 4x4 system alone is that good.. only when stuck up in the forest or swamps then the difflock does magic , i got the old W460 hydraulic lock :) pull them locks and it is a tractor on steroids

well we got hilux and landcruiser at work , good cars alright but when we need to tow we must use the G as the toyota small diesel engines and gearboxes falls apart to often when working hard , newer landcruisers is only paper and noisy to drive . i often have fun pulling from new land cruisers on road with my 30 y old G converted to 290TDT , landcruisers hardly move when pedal to the floor :) try 2013-2018 hilux and landcruiser models.. they suck
