    Dude, THANKS SO MUCH! No one out here on YT shows a proper way to do this, I've been struggling to understand how to transform my midi data to audio. The one simple thing you explained was to change it from a "SAMPLE" to "AUDIO" in the menu and that worked for me! Been confused about this for days now, THANKS SO MUCH!!

      Question, I have a scarlett2i2. Could I hook the fantom to it and use it into mashine?

    • @FizzENT
      @FizzENT  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AdrianP225 Yes, As long as it is equipped with midi in and out.

    Can you in step record mode, hold a step on the Maschine and insert say a chord from the midi keyboard? Thanks!

    • @FizzENT
      @FizzENT  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, not hold the step. The step sequencer keeps running and as its running you can play a chord from a midi keyboard.

    Can you use a midi controller with maschine such as an Akai MPK261 in order to use a keyboard instead of the pads??

    • @FizzENT
      @FizzENT  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm not 100% sure, but if you are able to map those pads to sounds slots i don't see why it wouldn't work.

      I own the latest Roland Fantom 06 and can't find a tutorial on how to connect it to my Mac. I thought it would only be compatible with a PC. Your video is one of the best describing my situation somewhat.@@FizzENT

      Thanks 🙏. Yeah that new one is dope. I stopped at the x6, and from there moved to soft-synths. I still incorporate sounds from the keyboard here and there.

    Hi, how to midi mapping master channel? I can’t find the button «Learn» 😢

    • @FizzENT
      @FizzENT  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi, it does not work for the master channel. I have a video on this about the work-around. Video: th-cam.com/video/WEElrDqbM1I/w-d-xo.html Playlist bit.ly/2TZDfAc

    Hey bro!
    Thanks for the vid.
    I followed the process step by step and still to no avail..
    I did it twice…
    Do you have any suggestions??
    I’m using fantom G6
    Into machine..

    • @FizzENT
      @FizzENT  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, it could be that a setting was missed in the Fantom G. What is not working? The midi not playing back, you hear no audio? I have a few more videos that might be able to help you out. th-cam.com/video/PR2OIUAYPAE/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/NO8GtCZQ1-o/w-d-xo.html

    Nice vid. Is there anything I have to set on fantom to make midi play on maschine like yours. I got everything set like yours but when i hit play on fantom nothing register on maschine.

    • @FizzENT
      @FizzENT  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, on the fantom check you sync settings. MTC needs to be set appropriately.

    I have a Keystep 37 w/ Maschine mk3 and it doesn't show/appear anymore after I unplugged the usb last night on the mk3... what should I do?

    • @FizzENT
      @FizzENT  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’d restart the computer and check to make sure cables are ok. Also make sure cables are tightly plugged in.

    Great vid. Been looking everywhere for it. I think I got it 😅. Can this be done with a microKorg? I can see the midi notes inside Maschine when I record and play my keys on the mK but if I use the mK arpeggiator, it doesn’t come accros. I am missing something in the setup?

    i really enjoyed video but you only recorded one of the six midi tracks that you had. do you do a video where you record multiple tracks into maschine software as audio?

    • @FizzENT
      @FizzENT  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you, i don't believe i do. Maschine does not have multi-track recording at this time

  • @oscaradam985
    @oscaradam985 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Thanks bro! I think by doing same routing with audio as you did with midi! We can record sound as well as midi!! I’m not sure if I’m right but just thoughts

    Hey just wondering why you turn off the clock after recording and if this is something you usually do when you finish recording?
    I have my clock out being sent into Ableton and I leave it on as I mix. Should I turn it off? :0

    • @FizzENT
      @FizzENT  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It might have been for demonstration purposes. If your mix is good, then it’s all good.
