Question
Can I still use focuway dash cam while my phone’s wifi is off. Fore example like using the memory card of the dash cam itself to store. Because I need to buy many of them.

I have the M5, looks like mine is going back to Amazon, No WiFi AP appears.and I never get the "Recording Start" message, although I do get the "Starting up" message when I plug in the power.
Looks like it needs more power than a "standard" USB2 port can supply, I had to use a cellphone charger.

hello, please format the SD card befor first use. You can format it on computer, or connect dash cam to APP then format it in settings.

Got mine, seems to work great with my Android phone, but iPhone has hard time connecting. Also, are there any firmware updates, and can you do things like change or turn off the voice prompts?

Yes you can turn off voive prompts : Connect T5 on your phone -- find the setting icon on live view page -- find the setting "Voice prompt tone" -- turn it off. Please contact our support email to get help for connect iphone : [e-mail]

When I’m using my OKCAR app, it has shut off my iPhone many times. And the worst part of it, you have to wait for the phone to connect to the Focuway. Thought this dash cam would be easy to use but it’s not.
