In my experience I personally do feel like I’m getting worse but all of a sudden I get better and after the bad comes another breakthrough
This is all according to a friend of his, but he has no plans of returning. Definitely the most productive choice By leaving he relieved himself of the pressures of being a popular figure and allotted more of his time to schoolwork; he put reality first. He cherishes the memories he forged on the game and is proud of his achievements, but just remember people come and go. We should be happy he's alive and well nowadays and recovering from his lowest low in life

What I do to keep myself motivated is try to set at least one top local score (on any map) every time I play, so I can actually see that I've gotten better. I'm trying not to focus on pp or global rank (though it does feel really good watching those numbers go up), but rather focus on personal improvement.

this video hit me so hard i started crying lmao ive been extremely frustrated lately as i first hit a wall, got out of it then literally 3 days later got a bad skill reset, which has caused a lot of anger towards my skill drop and an extreme raise of standards
And now Sytho is able to stream up to 370 bpm (if you do not believe me check out his most recent video of where he sped up Tower of Heaven to 370bpm which is over 2x speed) He can't do the entire song but he can definitely stream more than a burst at 370bpm with great acc

I think the best way to play is try out new things, mods you haven't tried or different kinds of maps. That way you might also find a skillset that you are really good at. As whitecat says the fastest way to improve is to have fun. Farming is also fun from time to time but it shouldn't be the only thing you do in the game. Try to actually get good at different skills.
I usually play till i start to suck and shitmiss. Time varies alot, sometimes i can play 1 h and suck, that come back few hours later and go on absolute godmode. In terms of resets i doesnt happen very often to be honest, it may be days where i absolute suck, but not months. Well after all im 5 digit, curently im improving at quite fast rate by adding conscious effort analyzing my mistakes.
