- Join me today for a Bali luxury resort hotel tour at the Holiday Inn Resort Baruna Bali in Kuta, Bali, Indonesia. This hotel was so great. I booked it with points from my Chase IHG card. I was also upgraded from a standard room to a premium room as well as a discount on food, beverage and spa services. They also had an IHG member reception with the hotel management staff. My Platinum Elite status was very helpful on this stay.

Hi Allie, I'm a fan of your and Rob's Grounded Life Travel channel, particularly your Amtrak videos. Randomly, we stayed at this resort two weeks ago! It was a similar room, but on the ground floor. It's great to see Americans who travel all the way to Bali. I'm sorry so many of us Australians are ruining it!

Hello - Thanks for the review. How was the beach at this hotel? Good sunrise or sunset? Crowded?
The beach was pretty good. You can watch planes landing at the airport and locals fly their kits at sunset each night. It was not crowded, I had no issues getting a lounge chair at the pool. The food was excellent and the service was top notch.
