Been to yo KL and Thailand recently and prices there have also increased, not so much in KL but I was expecting that. Really appreciate the time taken to review and post your review but! Helping me and wife to narrow down our Sanur selection.
Thanks for watching. I know prices have gone through the roof in Sanur. Grand Palace is still under $80 most the time and Artotel, Maison and Holiday Inn are now around the $100 / just over. I looked at Puri Hiromi for March recently and it was $200 per night more expensive than what we paid 😱. Glad we travelled when we did.
I just booked the Grand Palace for $80 a night including breakfast and Alantara for $100 and the suite for $140. We will get the free shuttle into central Sanur and it's $3 for a Grab or a bluebird taxi back.
Thanks for watching. We actually stayed up until January this year (2023) as in the description and most prices were well under $80, but like everywhere prices change with demand and Bali is in demand atm.

I disagree with the Alantara, location not ideal, wifi too weak, front staff especially the young female supervisor not too accommodating and she’ll show it and I found it odd coming from your first contact, rooms too cramped, toilet tooo small, same with the shower cubicle, water will leak unto main area, no elevator so beware if they assign you the the 3rd floor. We felt not welcomed by that female front staff, I had the option to stay for a few days but glad I went to the Holiday Inn, 100 meters from the beach and brand new, will sleep 3 and way cheaper than the Alantara. So many cheaper options and better accommodation near the beach. By the way, it’s our 9th trip to Bali. Never again at The Alantara
Sounds like you had a bad experience there which is a shame. Each experience is going to be different for all of us, glad you enjoyed Holiday Inn a bit better!
Wi fi too weak, thats a great reason to buy a local sim card with plenty of data. Reviews of the Alantara are very good, not many negative ones, I am looking dorward to our stay and we will use the complimentary shuttle bus every day.

Hi there, for an accurate idea of distance we'd recommend checking on Google maps. It's not a short distance but equally not ridiculously long

Yes, plenty of restaurants in walking distance, on the beach and even opposite the hotel
