Awesome video, glad to see its not just me who forgets something you know but just cant think of at the time, btw i think your RS125 has got to be the most well looked after example in existance, you do everything to perfection its nice to watch :)
Greetings ADHD🤝 Thanks for watching the channel and leaving an encouraging comment. I am lucky to have found this bike. I do my best to keep it maintained to a high standard. Glad you enjoy my videos. More to come soon Cheers Tom
Curious about how good this will work. Love how you're just taking your chances on it. It may be 100% clean and work perfectly. It may seize because there was still some junk left in the crankcase. Curious about the result! Great video ones again Tom!
Hello again. Thanks for your comment. I’ve honestly never done this before, but all things considered, it seems ok. 9 flushes, air blasting and cotton wool cleaning, I think I got it all….. but we will see🤞 Thanks again for your continued support, Tom
Hi Tom have you fitted a VForce reed block before & if so how hard is it to fit the reeds Easy or Hard???? Great channel keep it up fella…. Greetings from wales 🏴
Hi there. Yes I have fitted VForce reeds before, but not on the Honda. You’ll need to get the correct model to retrofit to your bike, obviously. The reeds will increase flow and throttle response so you may need to adjust the existing jetting a point or two to suit👍. Warm the bike up-insert a new spark plug- go for a quick blast then check the colour of the spark plug. Adjust jetting if necessary. This is what I do. Hope it helps.
Steady huffing over the top of that petrol lad😂 top job
B4L, it’s true I was huffing a bit there. The engine and stand was surprisingly heavy!
Thanks for your comment, it had me laughing😂
Cheers

Hi there. I dropped one of the pistol pin clips inside the crankcase. Will this method work? What should I do?
Hi. Can you tell me what is the clearance between crankshaft and case
I have same bike and clearance is about 1mm

@@tomdidit4216 hi Tom The VForce is for a 08 Aprilia RS 125….
They work well, but likely take some additional fine tuning.
Boyesen Reeds also make a 2 stage kit that will fit👍
Can i do this on a four stroke too?
I know it's a year ago, but those bearings definitely don't sound healthy when spinning the crank. How did it hold up?
Ended up rebuilding the motor.
