Ok, as I follow you down the rabbit hole (card making, sewing with felt, and now after 35 years, returning to cross stitch...) I am really enjoying it. Thank you for all your dedication in helping us with our hobbiesI lived in Wichita for years and remember going to the west side scrapbook store. I am lucky enough to be close to Branson, MO now where I shop at Scrapbooks Forever when ever I can. It’s a great store and they carry supplies from a lot of my favorite card making companies. Branson also has a great stitching shop by the name of Cecilia’s Samplers. My favorite designer’s are the Housewives, Country Cottage Needleworks and Primrose Cottage. 1,3 please
I don't really have a favorite designer at this point. Thanks to you I have just returned to stitching after about a 40 year break to have kids and work. I am currently working on a couple of stitches I picked up at my local fabric store and I am also working on Big City Christmas. I just started the theatre yesterday. Also I fully finished my first stitch which was the free "Happy Valentine's Day" chart you told us about and it turned out sooooo cute. So thank you for your inspiration. Your fully finished sled and little ornament are Tote Adorbs! I love them. You always have some unique ideas for finishing. The Distress ink was perfect, as were the little ball ornaments to make snowmen. For my favorite designer, I would have to list Liz Mathews, who is also a quilter. I am stitching her 12 Days of Christmas, plus I just love her as a person. I would love to take a class with her, and I did hear a rumor about an online Zoom type class with her. 3 , 4 , and 5

Make-A-Wish is a wonderful organization. When my 9 year old niece was diagnosed with brain cancer, a friend helped my sister contact them, and they were so compassionate. Unfortunately my niece had a very aggressive, inoperable cancer, and did not survive very long after diagnosis. But we will never forget the kindness of Make a Wish. Hi Nichol, 1 please. My favorite shop is 'Madonna Needleworks in Morgan Hill, CA. Very much enjoyed this Floss Tube video. Both of your cross stitch projects are treasures--I definitely could not choose a favorite. The sleigh is wonderful and so is the ornament. I am sure you will enjoy them for many, many years and so will your family members. Every year I hang up my Christmas stocking that my grandmother knit for me when I was 2 [I am now 71]. It pleases me to think about the connection we have with our love for stitching [I don't knit but I do needlepoint, sew, quilt and do papercrafts--she quilted, was a gifted seamstress, and painted as well as knitted beautifully.] I believe that handmade things leave a legacy for families to enjoy for generations.

My favorite designer at this moment is Cecilia her Tiny Town line. 3 absolutely love January Stackable’s and 5 white chocolate adia cloth. Love watching all your videos cards and planning too. I have even started using a planner again but this time with washi tape and stickers.

I’m stitching along with the adorbs snowmen and ornaments from Annie Beez and my 2nd should be here soon! The first one was so fun and I just decided to fully finish mine this morning while I was watching flosstube! Your finishes came out really pretty ❤ it’s probably what I dread the most to be honest! I normally stitch the majority of my snowmen on blue of some kind but I did order the fabric they had and I just love it! I also stitch a lot of spring mainly bunnies, all the bunnies all the time! Spring chart to look at - Tiny Modernist Welcome Spring. Very pretty with mushroom, gnome, butterflies and flowers. It is very sad that local independent stores do not survive. I live in a large metropolitan area and almost all the independents are gone - scrapbooking, needlework, quilting. I like to see things before I buy and seeing things makes me buy more! I can't say that have a favorite designer as I have so many charts from so many designers. Recently I have been stitching Primrose Cottage charts. 5
Hi Nichol, I have watched some of your card making videos and just caught this cross stitch video today....it has been a lot of years since I did any cross stitch but love the Snowman Sled you showed in this video. My oldest was born in Greensburg in 1978 ! It was a wonderful town in those days and so sad when they were destroyed by the tornado. My Aunt and Uncle's house was spared but they had already moved on by then. I too am a snowman lover ! Thanks for sharing and I look forward to watching more from you.

You inspired me to pick up my cross stitching again after nearly 30 years! Literally awaiting my very first Fat Quarter Shop order so I can jump back in. To the quilt question about starch. I Do not usually starch. I do starch with smaller projects. Such as, 1.5" half sq tringles. They do come our much nicer. Also when putting a block together that is all 1.5" sq. the block comes up much nicer. I cut the piece, starch and let dry over night. Hope this helps. Your 1st FFO is darling, love how the sled finished and your stitch is lovely.

I do the exact same thing with my DMC! Except- when you pull out the first end throw it over your shoulder. It makes the strands not crossover each other and voila! Fewer knots. Great flosstube- thank you for sharing.

Another great video! I love how you used the distress, stains and inks on your projects! They look so rich, and would be such an easy application, I would think. 3 4 5. I am into a lot of the primitive looking designs right now and stitching with the housewives.
I have several designers that I love; Primrose Cottage , JBW, Heart in Hand, SWTH and Shannon Christine. I also like the ones that are series like Houses on Peppermint Lane, Sheep Virtues and Little House Needleworks. Looking forward to stitching the Big City series! 1,3,4,5
Spring chart to look at - Tiny Modernist Welcome Spring. Very pretty with mushroom, gnome, butterflies and flowers. It is very sad that local independent stores do not survive. I live in a large metropolitan area and almost all the independents are gone - scrapbooking, needlework, quilting. I like to see things before I buy and seeing things makes me buy more! I can't say that have a favorite designer as I have so many charts from so many designers. Recently I have been stitching Primrose Cottage charts. 5

Hi Nichol, I have watched some of your card making videos and just caught this cross stitch video today....it has been a lot of years since I did any cross stitch but love the Snowman Sled you showed in this video. My oldest was born in Greensburg in 1978 ! It was a wonderful town in those days and so sad when they were destroyed by the tornado. My Aunt and Uncle's house was spared but they had already moved on by then. I too am a snowman lover ! Thanks for sharing and I look forward to watching more from you.

I love the colors on your sled! I absolutely love snowmen too and have already add the ones you got to my cart. I have so many designers that I like it’s hard to pick a favorite. Right now I’m stitching a Tiny Modernist chart and have Cherry Hill Stitchery and Shannon Christine projects sitting right here waiting to get some more stitches. 4, 5

First of all - your hair is amazingly fresh! LOVE IT! The sled turned out wonderful - love the colors your chose! I am too new for an all time favorite but I am loving Primrose Cottage lately. Everything I see is cute and I can see a place to put it all in my home. I hope to do more in the coming year. I recently watched one of your Flosstube videos since I saw it while searching for your cardmaking videos. I immediately went back and have been watching every one of them from the beginning. You inspired me to pick up my cross stitching again after nearly 30 years! Literally awaiting my very first Fat Quarter Shop order so I can jump back in. To the quilt question about starch. I Do not usually starch. I do starch with smaller projects. Such as, 1.5" half sq tringles. They do come our much nicer. Also when putting a block together that is all 1.5" sq. the block comes up much nicer. I cut the piece, starch and let dry over night. Hope this helps. Your 1st FFO is darling, love how the sled finished and your stitch is lovely.

I do the exact same thing with my DMC! Except- when you pull out the first end throw it over your shoulder. It makes the strands not crossover each other and voila! Fewer knots. Great flosstube- thank you for sharing.

Lindy Stitches has a darling freebie spring pattern in her newsletter, Peter’s Day Out, which is tiny but so cute. I just ordered Spring from a new to me designer, Sweet Wing Studio. I do mostly smalls and they have some unique ones.
