You continue to amaze me with all that you accomplish. It is a tribute to how organized you are--it is apparent to me that you do make it intentional. I retired several years ago and used to be crazy organized but since I am retired I don't seem to get nearly so much finished. I hope to change that for next year at your inspiration. I won't be stitching this week but I hope to finish decorating my house for Christmas. I have 'stuff' all over ready to be turned into a Christmas wonderland [ha ha]. We had a huge storm blow in and dump this stuff along with no power. So I stitched wool ornaments. I finished a wip I started last year. I get you exactly on the Planning Front! This was my second year as a cross stitcher. I started May 2020 while knitting and watching Espace Tricot on TH-cam when Flosstube popped up. Took me about 10 minutes to fall down the rabbit hole. Between squirrels and FOMO I have collected 50 years of everyone’s favorite patterns and beautiful FO’s and FFO’s, I have most everyone’s favorite linen in their fav color and count, and I have to try all the mentioned floss in cotton, linen, wool, silk, hand dyed, sparkly! 😳 I tell myself to shop from my own in home LNS but then the next Flosstube starts and all those thoughts go out the window as I hit the pause button to place an order. Thank goodness I can make my own project bags. This year I tried a few of the online plans with others. WIPGO BBD stitching with L&TSS Sampler Day Christmas on the 25th of every month Halloween on the 30th OEM Stitch Maynia 🤪 Add my knitting, quilting, and paper crafting in the mix and it’s been a year of, “Mr. Toads Wild Ride” for me. Wow!! What a wind jabber 😮 All this to say I look forward to hearing your plans. I too am preparing for a new year of personal planning that works for me with a little Hygge mixed in. 😊 Loved your round ornament finish.

Hi Nichol! I don’t always comment but when you were discussing Peyton and how she needed the ham and the turkey and then the noodles it truly spoke to me as my daughter is the same exact way. She is a traditions nut and sometimes makes me a little crazy with it. Lol! I guess some of our kids just really treasure those things so I do my best to make her holidays special and do what makes her happy. I have never been able to get into planners. Back in the day, before personal computers - they were a thing. I found I was spending more time filling them out than actually accomplishing what I was planning to do. I do better with simple to do lists. I do have Excel spreadsheets for my craft supplies, fabrics, threads, sewing machine feet etc. That way I can access those on my phone when shopping and I see a sale etc.

You've gotten quite a lot accomplished! I am such a slow stitcher. I'm a slow scrapbooker, slow cardmaker, etc. I hope to finish, "Oh What a Sight," by Teresa Kogut this week and move on to the Cherry Hill snowman. My planning is very loosely done. I have set some goals for 2023. But it will be more open ended. Every week I plan what I will work on each day.

6 7 . Been working hard this year to make a cross stitch project for each one of my nieces and nephew. Can't wait till Christmas to see their reactions.
