Excellent job. She turned out gorgeous. 1972 my favorite year for Cadillacs. Whoever is the lucky owner should be absolutely stoked. I know I would be.
In November 1971 my father bought a brand new 1972 Cadillac Sedan Deville in the same dark blue. That car was so comfortable. They don't make cars that comfortable anymore- I NEVER liked bucket seats. I miss cars with the big bench seats.
Very nice restoration. But explain why you left off the continuous rocker moulding trim off of the rear fender skirts. Plus, explain the rusted, jutting exhaust tailpipe. I was wondering why you chose a flat, drab, non-matching/coordinated vinyl roof covering as well. That very aftermarket car radio really should be replaced with the factory unit. Contact the Cadillac-La Salle Club International. They can get you all of the right parts to really make her new again. I had a medium blue metallic 1972 Sedan de Ville as my first car back in 1977. I really miss it. I kept that car for 11 more years. I should have kept it. Seeing yours makes me miss it.
Interesting to see an Emirates restoration. Where do you find the workers with these skills? - this is not the kind of work that many people in that region would have experience.
I have owned numerous 1972 Cadillacs. The Fleetwood Sixty-Special was my favorite. Sadly, by the early seventies the fit and finish of Cadillacs had become sloppy. You could stick your fingers between the edges of the hood and fenders or doors and fenders. Not good. Also the 472 V-8 was becoming stifled with Government interference. I am sure from the look of this car that these people have made this car better than factory new!
No the car is not for sale. This is a customer's car restored by the team of Nostalgia Auto Restoration in Dubai, UAE. You can check the website to see the cars available for sale.
My father had the identical one in 72 (but with navy leather). The correct color was a bit darker and the top was navy; not black or gray (awful). the interior seats were not that pool lounge chair vinyl on the sides, and that cheap ugly carpet wouldve never been in Cadillac. after ALL the work; the AWFUL interior Costco radio---incredible. Before laying out all that time and money; DO CADILLAC RESEARCH.
Yes, you are correct about the details. Former Cadillac dealer and collector here. And I too can’t stand it when someone restores a car and doesn’t get it right. But, I suppose they did it the way they wanted to. 🤷♂️
The 1972 Cadillac Sedan DeVille is by far the best looking Caddy ever, and has one of the best designs of all times!
A great restoration on what was sadly a very pablum-era Cadillac when compared to the 1957-1964 period.
Excellent job. She turned out gorgeous. 1972 my favorite year for Cadillacs. Whoever is the lucky owner should be absolutely stoked. I know I would be.
Maravilhoso. Bela restauração, com certeza o proprietário se apaixonou. ❤
Aside from 1972 being my birth year - this is gorgeous! The blue is perfect. Well done.
The 72' always had the best looking front from this generation
Standard of the world. I wish they were still built like this. It's like a new car

Суппер Золтоя рука Мастер Браво
Очень щепетильно и красиво ...
My mom had this model
КРАСАВИЦА А НЕ МАШИНА ЭТО ВАМ НЕ китай.............
THAT'S CRUZE LINER YOU CAN FIT 8 PEPOLE ❤❤
Looks like a $50,000+ restoration. Is a 4 door worth that much?
No, it’s not. But very few cars are worth more than the cost of a restoration. Cars are being restored for nostalgic reasons mostly.
To me this car shames any new luxury car on the market.
Yacht, 10mpg, coasting down hill, 472 4bbl............
Why you have the frame not sandblasted ?
It have rust inside !

Looked like undercoating was sprayed on the frame instead of paint. Not right.

Very little plastic
You should know what you are talking about. This is a Sedan Deville, not a Coup Deville. Hint Einstein, it has four doors.
