sounds fine, smooth power , easy to maintain, no turbo to worry about , no cylinder deactivation to wear engine unevenly. still has 8,200 lb towing capacity, payload 1,947.
I just bought one 2008 V6 Chevy 1500 RWD single cab long bed. 77k miles. $13k from a dealer🤢 I didnt need a 4x4 or a 6.0. I wouldve loved the 5.3 but pre AFM were either beat to death or the owners wanted a fortune. I couldnt find any 4.8s another great engine.

Same engine that my chevy work van has, it's been very reliable hauling stuff. 😊
Is this actually the same engine from an Astro van? Didnt those have a 6 cylinder version of the 350?
That’s exactly what it is, same block and bore. Just 2 cylinders missing.
SADLY YOU CALLED THE SUBURBAN/TAHOE INTERIOR DIFFERENCE SLIGHTLY WHEN IT'S NOT!!!!😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬IN THE 4.8L REVIEW
GM has been using that same ugly looking column shifter in many of their vehicles for almost 20 years!
It may be ugly, but at least it didn’t break on me like the shiny, new, less ugly shifter in a 2020 Silverado I was using recently
