I really wanted to love these lights. For what they are, they're great! But after owning 4 of them, the battery is the biggest let down. I have two that don't charge anymore and the other two have to constantly be charged. And I'm just using these lightly. I could use it for 10 min one day and the next day they're flat. My biggest frustration with these though are the menu buttons on the back. You can't see them once the light is turned on. I find I have to use a torch to see what I'm pressing. If only they were backlit or at least have some white markings on them to actually see them, would make these less frustrating to use.
That's really odd. The small ones have lasted now for 2 years. I run them at 50% brightness or under and the runtime is insanely good. I wonder if that one had a faulty battery or something? Sorry to hear that.
Nothing harder than trying to expose for an RGB light with a camera, but I did my best. 😂 Check them out on the Ulanzi Website - bit.ly/3tcwCy0 (affiliate link)
I wouldn't leave them plugged in 24/7 (or anything for that matter with a rechargeable battery) but they can be used non stop with a USB cable attached to keep them powered while operational yes.
