I vaguely remember that the voices aren't actors but real people with genuine regional accents in an interview situation. They came up with phrases that script writers just couldn't think of, 'it's so turn on and off-able' brilliant!
True. Production team interview members of the general public. Some people who were interviewed post in comments section at times. They asked a huge range of questions and recorded a lot of audio, but the people interviewed don't know what animals will be animated or which sections of audio get used. Good system for the shows and these information clips
Gotta love Creature Comforts, the short, the UK series and the Countryside PIF, anything with those hilarious animals is bound to be fun, this is no expecting, this was also featured on Aardman’s Classics DVD and VHS along with the original Oscar winning short!, so yeah all of these ads are wonderfully animated and funny as to be expected!
Great to see these again! I think I first saw all of these at the Garden Festival Wales in 1992. My introduction to Aardman! I still remember the penguin saying "e-fish-ent."
Love these, they are so brilliant and funny for adverts. The last advert with the parrot and the other birds then gathering outside reminds me of The Birds. 🤣
Very good. Never seen the Pigs, Monkeys or the last Penguin one. The shower/tumble dry electric ones. I love the background moments but that unfortunate the penguin in the background compared to in the kitchen of the other ones. Creature Comforts and the wording/animation is so good. I enjoy animation ads. Many insurance companies I see and go ah the animation. That or the red bull or certain other ads. Or pet food ads.
Love the penguin flicking his feet 😂😂😂😂

The lump in the throat of that tortoise when he swallowed had me dying! 😂😂😂
“Easily turn on and offable” I still remember when these ads aired. What unscripted brilliance from the British public
"They've got to be easily turn off and onable"
I really love the voice and the style of the turtle, it kinda reminds me of those Aardman styles for some reaso-NO WAIT! IT IS AARDMAN!
I love the idea of a tortoise coming in after a 10 mile slog.
This is a brilliant series! ❤
From the studio that brought you Chicken Run and Wallace & Gromit
Aardman Animation Studios ❤❤❤

Oh, it truly is the return of the legend.

I know there were hubba bubba adverts as well with a similar concept such as peacocks. “Was that Aardman?” 🦚
Proud wearer of a penguin "Yes Dad" sweat shirt that I originally bought for my father. Some happy memories triggered, thank you.
0:00 The meme where it all began.
Keep Warm this Winter.
“Easily turn on and offable” became something of a catchphrase for a while. 🙂
Yes, except it's the other way around! 😆🔥
Just brilliant ads!
The Return of The King
Love these 😁❤️
turtle song persian language
Hilarious.
Reminder that while it seems scripted, these are the voices of the real early 90s British everyman and woman being interviewed.
Those penguins look like McGraw .
Creature comforts is interesting
Is nobody going to mention the Penguin dad having a heart attack at 6:39? XD wtf was that about!?

@@DJ3lectrical Not what I was thinking... the animated pigs look a bit like the original 2007 Moonpig advert.
I think the voice at the end was Johnny Morris
Yes that's right. Remember Animal Magic?
Proper adverts...not like the crap today. Frank was my favourite. 👍
I find it very funny that the panda couple has British accents LOL
Well, they are British people.
The Pandas have Scottish accents.
Does anyone know why was there a big push towards electric everything in 1990?
Probably because of the gas crisis back in the 90s.

I love how this is one letter off 'gay crisis'

Where the singing arabic turtle came from
I knew I was gonna get a comment about that unfunny meme that clogs up every upload of the Advert, sooner or later.

Did this campaign make the air? It’s super brilliant wow. Every tiny detail is amazing and so realistic lol despite these being stop frame animals 😂😂😂
@@farhanatoerien3437 Yes it did make the air, and yes it is amazing!
Heat Electric with today's prices? If only they'd known what the future held.

Woah, they look like the penguin from gentoo!
Haha
@Riley Potts I don’t have one
@Riley Potts Roy who?
@Riley Potts Oh that show. I used to like it as a kid. However I much prefer the original short film that inspired it, Badly Drawn Roy.
@Riley Potts It has 4/5 stars on IMDB
Why that penguin dose not look like McGraw from Wallace and gromit
Hahahaha!
Is looks so real is looks like your pet turn into stop motion of clayand could talk
They couldn't use this now as it's not diverse enough 😮
Show us on the doll where she refused to touch you, m8. 🤡
“Shower electric” does not sound like a good idea, depending on the circumstances that is.

You're correct, it was!
