How to change RBR Pro Engine Sounds!

- Disclaimer: Due to the automatic updates in RBR Pro, it's possible the original engine sounds could be re implemented. if that happens, you know what to do! ;)
This method is focused on RBR Pro but this can be used with other launchers and mods as well.
Disclaimer: Due to the automatic updates in RBR Pro, it's possible the game could overwrite the sound you replace with the original sound. Luckily this is very quick and easy so if you still don't like the sound, you can use this same method.
RBR was the first SIM I tried and it's still my favorite rally game. The only thing I didn't like were the sounds. Thank you so much for this! 🥰
Yes, some of the sounds make some cars unplayable imo. Keep in mind once the files are overwritten, they can't be changed back without a copy of the file somewhere.
Using RBRCIT you can update and install cars and their latest Fmod updates. The speed and release of these updates only happen with RSF and or the RBRCIT tool, pro is the latest in the category along with all other personal RBR mod installations.
Thank you for the info, I really wish my favorite car received some more love but I understand the contemporary cars are more focused on.

I'm sure it's possible if you know how but this game seems pretty simple for the end user to change things.
You kinda can on PC if you know what your looking for.
@@BUTTERY-APEX ya some games are pretty open with the files. Others like wrc 10 are locked down pretty tight and you can only change basic stuff unfortunately...
I can't wait till someone cracks dirt rally 2.0 open to start modding the game heavily. I'm talking new stages and better physics.
That could easily be the next "RBR" if someone figures out how to make or import stages.
I remember doing this back in the day in Team Fortress Classic and Counter Strike. Some games are pretty locked down these days.

If you want certain features from this particular mod, you have to pay 15 dollars so you can participate in the rbr pro online events and have access to the special navigator specific co drivers but there are other mods like Rally sim fans and such that are free and you can also donate to them if you enjoy it a lot.
I'd say rbr pro is the most well put together package of them all but there are bit less stages although the ones that are included are relatively high quality. :)

In RSF you can choose between sounds. Not sure about others, does fmod work on the vanilla version of the game?
@@DouglasThompson on basic CZ plugin install RBRCIT is the way to go and much easier than this. FMOD works with NGP6 cars only.
@@aleksip_rally wouldn't you be able to go into the standard car audio files and switch them with this method as well?

@@wisamezzat3 you can't use a canvas on PS5 at least not without some kind of peripheral to adapt it to it. Sorry PC only unfortunately, and that's PlayStation's fault...
