i don't care how much a club costs, if it doesn't have the right feel for you its of little value. years ago i picked up a 9.99 putter from rock bottom.. and love it
Have played the Kirkland V2.0 golf ball. For the price it is really hard to beat. I did not notice a distance drop off. Seems to be a pretty straight ball and works well around the greens. Definitely interested in the KS1 Putter for the money, and would buy the 15 gram weight kit also.
I got my Sun mountain C-130 bag from Costco for a lot less than other retail locations. Really happy about that. I did pick up the putter earlier this season, my putting has been much more consistent and I love the feel of it. I also just got fitted for new TM irons due to my M2 irons starting to cave. I went 4-PW and am probably going to get the Kirkland wedges to replace my AW-LW. As for the Kirkland balls. I originally picked up a box for the short practice area at my local course but I typically go with Bridgestone for play. This past weekend I tried the Kirkland ball and even though I didn't get quite the distance I do with the Bridgestone, I did like the feel and control. I typically shoot around 90 on my local courses, hilly and pretty tight but I shot a 41 on the front 9 of the harder course and didn't lose a ball until 18 (poor decision on my part is the cause) but the balls were sticking pretty well and rolled really well on puts. I will most likely stick with these on tighter courses from now on.
You missed by a couple weeks, my local Costco had Callaway Edge sets with a driver, wood, hybrid, putter, and 6 irons for (I think) $550 or so; Costco's model often involves things being in and out of the stores relatively quickly, so those might be back next year. IMO, the Kirkland balls are an absolute steal for those like me who tend to have a water magnet in their clubs; I might lose a few yards on drives with them, but they're great for the mid and short game, and for $1 a ball...?
I have tried the gloves and the balls in the past. The gloves were of very good quaility and the balls were terrific for $1.00 a ball. I am tempted by the wedges.
I've played Kirkland balls and I like them too. Just to add, if you want the ball that is essentially a Prov1 go to Snell Golf. Dean Snell engineered the Prov1 and now has his own company. He sells direct. Yes they are more than a buck a piece - around $34/dozen, but that beats the snot out of the Prov1 price.

Reviews on the balls with launch monitors are pretty consistently saying they are good overall, but fall off at longer distances. I've been using the gloves for some time and while they lack the durability of higher quality gloves, you get four for the price of one so still a deal. Thanks for review. -P.S. that's my Costco too 😉
I think the clubs and putter are Callaway. Interested in what ypu find. I know Callaway produced coscto only box sets in the past. I think Rick Shiels did a review.
I would love me some Kirkland wedges....But I’m a lefty. I mean, if Cobra can come out with a complete range of putters, like 7 putters and 5 of them are available in lefty, Costco can source a left handed wedge set.
My local Costco restocked on the Calloway Edge set today - 10.5 driver, 3 wood, 5 hybrid, 6-SW, and an Odyssey putter with a Super Stroke grip; I’d love to see a review :)
The Fort Myers store; they were out of stock for a month or so, but they had a fully-stocked display this afternoon when I went in for golf balls. Looks like a good set for $500. One can now walk into a Costco and spend less than $1k to get a nearly full set of clubs, bag, gloves, and balls. Only need tees to pop onto the course straight from the store!
I stumbled across the putter yesterday walking thru Costco, I was so impressed with how it felt. Super balanced and I loved the super stroke grip. Have you figured out who makes the putter and wedges yet?
At $50 a wedge they’re great for beginners who just want some quality wedges without breaking the bank. The Golf Balls are also 3 piece and soft to the touch, feels like a Pro V1. At the price of $23-$27 for 24 balls, a quarter of the price of Pro V1s I wouldn’t waste money on regular Pro V1s. They both feel the same to me and the only difference is the brand name. Only things I would consider better at $50 for a dozen in Bridgestone Tour Bs, Pro V1Xs, TP5s, etc.
I have eyed those wedges more than once!! I might just have to pull the trigger on those. What do you think of the putter? I use Kirkland Golf balls all the time. Very nice.
They are releasing a full set of irons in 2023. I own the putter, the wedges, and buy all my balls and gloves from them as well. The value can't be beat.
Sadly my Costco in the Charlotte area doesn’t have any golf supplies. I’ve ordered the balls before on their website. For a $1 golf ball they are pretty decent. The putter looks great.
The gloves are sheep skin leather. There is no synthetic material. I love them and at that price I bought four packs of four so I always have a fresh glove and they are super durable.
Do you know what the difference is between the two types of Kirkland golf balls? Not sure what it likes in the states but in the UK you can get the green/silver box and the red/silver the only difference on the red box has V2 performance plus and the other just performance plus 🤷🏻♂️ Hope I can get a answer from you🙏🏻

@@LetsPlayThru well it was definitely well stocked when you went to get them! and that 1st chip shot that went in? that's good enough just to get them.
I'm pretty sure that Kirkland is just titelist and they just rebrand the items considering the balls are almost the same as pro v1 for the 2 piece and pro v1x for the three piece. Also the wedges are most likely vokeys.
Bettinardi blade style putter head covers come with a Velcro closure... even my limited edition one was the same.. only thing I don't like! The Costco stuff looks pretty good!

Tried to get my wedges bent strong 2 degrees as I have the same gapping and they were only able to get 1 degree stronger on them so just be aware of that!
Which means they're possibly cast versus forged carbon steel. If they're cast they will break if you try to bend them too much. Did your clubmaker mention that? Just curious. Nothing wrong with cast BTW. Plenty of fine cast clubs out there including Ping.
The head cover is fine the velcro really works well! The golf gloves are great and I recommend them plus the Kirkland golf balls are definitely worth the price! 🐊🏌️♂️🚩🇺🇸🦅
Actually the velcro is my only complaint with the putter. I tore it off and am going to replace it with magnets. IF the velcro would have been a little closer to the edge, it would have been fine but mine seemed really tight to the club and took effort to get it to stick with the club in.
Interesting content. I’m hoping to be on vacation to Orlando and Bradenton at the end of the year. Do you have to be a resident to get a Costco membership? Traveling with my clubs.
