I’m back at it again! I’m happy to share this technique on how I created faux cornrows! 😁 That actually last! However like with any styles using this type of method, the longevity depends on how well it’s maintained. What do you think of this method? Would you try it?!

💕Btw I forgot to mention in the video, that I used the Ebin adhesive spray at the end when I was done to seal everything.
💕This style did surprisingly last awhile! I just took it down after about a week!
💕Removal: I used alcohol, and coconut oil (lots of it!) mainly!

Ma'am. I have been battling alopecia since childhood, abs tried every creative weave solution you can think of, but this has me floored.😮 I would have NEVER thought to do this 😩
I have used braiding hair to create edges for as long as I can remember and I'm 55 now. I think I started doing that back when I was in my early 40s, when my edges started thinning, But honey you have taken this concept to the next level. I know it is a dream for all of us that deal with alopecia and some way or form, whether it's a lot or just a small amount, to wear the same styles everybody else does, and it can be a hit to your heart when you can't. With young ladies like you showing how styles can be achieved without always having to wear wigs, is a blessing! You keep doing what you're doing and I just hope and pray that a lot of people will see these videos and try these methods 🎉🎉🎉
I fell out laughing when you showed the Cynthia doll lol You are amazing! My edges are thin But coming back just a little bit. The crown of my hair is what I'm scared is going to just be gone but I have been creating some oils for my scalp and it looks much better now. It's a long process but it's finally growing back in..

💕Also, I didn’t get to mention in the video, that you don’t have to cut it in a “U” shape, after a few I started having trouble, the tape kept sticking to my fingers 😂….however you will still lay the hair down in that shape, hope that makes sense 😁💕

Can you please tell me how long the faux braids last bonded down that way. I am getting ready for training and I will be sweating everyday. Would this look be achievable for that?
Suggestion: Like they do with man weave use eyebrow pencil to mark your rows or spaces. So your rows can be straight or at angle or in a design if you want them to.

It was fun 🤗 it was almost like an outer body experience braiding my hair in the area my hair been gone from for years, it was surreal. Yeah, it does require some patience, but surprisingly it wasn’t too bad, once I got the hang of what I was trying to do. I definitely want to try this method on someone else, so I can get it more precise.💕😄

I’m about to try it now … i’ve been doing it on one of my clients for her edges but I never thought to do my own for some reason because my area of hair loss is much more than hers but it’s similar to yours, so I’m gonna try it now. Where did you get the Afro wig as well I wanna know.
I honestly can’t remember where I got that from 🤔 I’ve had it for awhile. But I told myself I’m going to start keeping track of where I get my units from, in case someone wants to know.

What kind of spray was in the blue bottle that you used between parts?
Do you find that the glue pulls out your new growth? Or not?
No, because I take my time and try to be very careful while taking it down… however I’m putting it in places, I know are permanently damaged already. I just don’t recommend using the tape, if you know your hair has potential to grow back. The Got2b and Ebin holding spray is a good option for a less aggressive bond.❤️
