- The Gen 2 jockey shifter bar is made from solid laser cut steel, and is precision bent to hug the contours of the Can-Am Ryker body panels, while allowing for compatibility with the hypnotic concepts left side cup holder. It features a fully revised shift linkage system that utilizes ball joints on both ends of the shift linkage, allowing for super smooth shifting. At the base of the shifter bar, we have a revised collar bracket design that allows you flexibility to adjust the outward pitch of the shifter bar to maximize leg clearance, so that you can find the position that best fits you.
Up top the jockey shifter features a floating shift ball design, that includes a 2" round shift knob that flows nicely with the kit, but for those of you that wanna take things up a notch, the included shift knob is easily removable in case you wanna swap out for something a bit more custom. If you wanna swap out your shift knob, you'll want to make sure that you find a shift knob that matches the thread and pitch of the hex bolt included with the kit, which is 3/8"-16 x 3/4. If you cannot find an aftermarket shift knob that matches the thread & pitch of the hex bolt we include with the kit. You could always swap out the hex bolt entirely to a bolt with a different thread and pitch, opening you up to literally endless aftermarket shift knob options.
Now, for those of you that love lighting or go to bike nights, one of our favorite things about the Gen 2 Jockey Shifter is that it was designed with a flat outside edge and the reason for that is so that you can add our optional Remote controlled LED Saber Light (sold separately). The Saber Light offers a slew of different lighting features to bring your jockey shifter to life!

Great detail on the insulation I did mine in under 30 minutes….
I can tell you on my kit the steel shift bar isn't at the correct angle where you mount the heim joint, causing binding on both ends. I had to put 5mm spacers under each one to get it to work.

Is there a troubleshooting site I could go to? We got it all hooked up correctly, and it will not turn on with the remote. The remote lights up, so I know it’s not dead. What am I missing?

What did you use for the Hood Latches? I hate taking my 21 Ryker hood on and off. This seems like a way easy way to do it
Ahh, those hood pins came factory on our 2022 Rally Model! They're actually more of a pain than the regular hood release in my opinion. Lol.
Is this just for the can am ryker rally edition? Does it fit the standard can am ryker too?

@@Slingmods just installed it today. Even with the collar brackets are tightly secure, it can still sway side to side with just a little force. It is solid as far as keeping it secure from moving foward and backward. The product is okay. Not solid enough to warrant a $200 price tag.

No, the Saber light is independent from the Chaser UnderGlow Kits we sell.
Has anyone tried a #3 ball? I like the idea because of riding on three wheels. How close is the color to adrenaline red? Is there a known supplier for already threaded #3 ball? #slingmods you should offer this along with the #8 ball.
That's a cool idea Jonathan. The shift lever on the Jockey Shifter has a 3/8" x 16 thread and pitch. If you can find a 3 ball with that thread pattern.. you'll be good to go! Thx for watching.

Awesome really ! But please please PLEASE, use metric allen screws and nuts (torx is OK). As a reminder and a joke, this joint use of two types of units of measurement caused the loss of the Mars Climate Orbiter spacecraft in September 1999. Okay the Ryker is not a spaceship ... although. I live in Europe and we have only metric screws and so on. All the canadian Ryker screws and nuts are in metric system ....

Doing my research before buying Riker or spider. What on God's green earth is that reverse shifter configuration, it's like someone forgot to incorporate modern technology into simplifying putting this beautiful machine into reverse. That's my rant.
