- Today i'm going to show you how to build a cheap but effective method of building a sleeping platform in your short bed truck/tacoma. This works pretty well for anyone under 6ft who doesn't mind being a little snug!

Nice build. Kept it simple but effective. One piece of advice: NEVER pull something through a table saw towards you. You're one kick back away from a bad day

Would this be possible with a bed tent? Im trying to cram me and the girlfriend in the back. I was thinking about making an extension to utilize the tailgate being down.
I'm not familiar with bed tents but I do know people have made an extension to use with the tailgate down

@@chorizobandito8943 It's a little tight to the top of the cap, enough room I can lay on my side and roll over without issue though. Honestly I've slept really well in there, it's cozy :D
