Imagine with the right lighting. You can really get the effect down to near 100% immersion. Well done.

Yea I agree, the contrast in the original footage is higher. It also looks like he blurred himself a little too much maybe or is there some mismatch to the motion blur? And in the second shot, it looks like the motion tracking didn't work too well because he seems to be bouncing around in the shot. Buuuut when it comes down to it, none of that matters because this vid has inspired me a lot!
Yea this kid is very good at the technical implementations so it's just a matter of training his eye better. In the second shot the soft lighting he used does not match the harsh midday light hitting the men's hats, the proportions seem off since Churchill's head looks tiny compared to his even though he's supposed to be behind him, and for some reason there seems to be a dark outline to him as though he added a general drop shadow that's casting shadow on the air.
That said, I just noticed this was made many years ago so he's probably a lot better now.

How do you determine the frame rate of the footage you want to match? also would like to see you explain colour matching in premiere pro or after effects. There are lots of resources on photoshop, but bit hard to transfer the learning.
This will be really helpful for me merging one piece of existing film footage with another. The only issue with that is there is no green screen. Do you have any tips on fast rotoscoping?

what program did you use?
The only thing you should work on is: In the last exemple, remove the shadow of you head a put a shadow on the guys behind you to look like your hidding the sun from them.
and also pixelize your body to look like a 360p image.
The Churchill shot could have been great, but your green screen has a shadow that should have been removed, or next time stand further from the green screen.
