When I was seeking salvation I went to a home bible study. I accepted the Lord as my personal savior as I was happily leaving God spoke to me and said “You still are not saved” He sent me to an Apostolic church where I was baptized in Jesus’s name and filled with the Holy Ghost. Now I am following on to know the Lord experiencing more spiritual power than I could have ever imagined.

Two thousand years later we’re still allowing our selfishness, culture, and politics to blind and distract us from God’s true message and path for His children .
    Thank you Brandon

Great work as always. The second part of the Greatest commandments comes from the actual 10 commandments recently authenticated - to have no hate or ill-will in your heart or actions toward your neighbor/brother.... And that takes it much deeper.

Hi Brandon! I need to tell you that I enjoy your content very much. I view it as bible study, perhaps Im wrong, but you make it so much easier to understand what I have read.
I am a very new christian, since the 23rd of June, so Ive only read the book of Matthew so far, and often I need to read a few times think, let it sink in.
I come from a backroung of criminality and the occult, so I mean it when I say that Jesus just shook me and opened my eyes, my heart and mind. ❤
I have given my life to Jesus and started to go to church and bible study. I was already recovering from burnout but now it feels like Im getting worse and I just havent had the energy to attend eather. 😓😴
But Ive been reading my bible and consuming mostly christian content including your videos. On a day like today where I could hardly keep my eyes open, I can just listen and take in all that you talk about and really think about it.
I also have been praying so much. All the time and I love it. ❤
Thank you for making it possible for me to get to understand scripture so much better, even when I cant go to church.
May God bless you with health, abundance and peace. ❤
    Greetings from Sweden. ❤

Wonderful wonderful wonderful. Thank you for this video and for the beyond The words series. The way you help us here by tying everything together showing us that it's on one story and it's all related everywhere throughout the Bible it's very important for people to know and it makes the Bible, more real to people. That it really does detail somebody's life even though people prophesied about it before that life happened and that they went out and told about it after it ended. It's all one thing.
    And Jesus is so amazing

I love the Lord my God, but do I really love Him with all my strength? With all my mind? With all of me? Do I allow Him to take the driver's seat? You have shaken me brother and scared me as well, thank you and thank you, my Lord and my God, for sending me here, to a servant, a true servant, of yours. Please pray for me, help me to surrender all of myself, and to truly love Jesus as I want to do, and as He demands I do. You have a new subscriber and a very grateful one.

Well and a lot of people don’t even love themselves so God is saying love yourself love God but you can’t love anybody else if you can’t give something you don’t have so you have to let the Father love you and receive His grace then you can extend the love the grace that He gives you. In my personal life I’ve had the experience that I’ve had to learn how to receive the love from the Heavenly Father because my father loved me but he wasn’t he wasn’t affectionate he didn’t say it a lot I think he only said it to me twice so a lot of people have a hard time because of their earthly relationship with their father,so l did even recognize it until Holy Spirit revealed it to me then He has been teaching me how to receive His Love it has really my relationship with Lord and how l love others

Hi Brandon, I asked you a question once about your background & training. Now I want to ask for your advice.
I live in a small community & don't plan to stay here for much longer. I've been here 7 years & my faith has changed during that time. I have not found a church home here. What should a person do when their choices for a church family don't reflect the truth as I know it? I am looking for Biblical Truth. Biblical sermons. Not feel-good, sugar-coated, apostate teachings... Do I go to any old church, just to be part of a church community? Or wait to find one that I am more closely aligned?

Brandon may I ask, have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed?

  • @davidgooley8940
    @davidgooley8940 2 ปีที่แล้ว

At the part Brandon is talking about sin, if you are wondering how to stop sinning, consider 1 John 3:4 that defines sin as transgression of the Law. It goes even deeper than that, because 2 Corinthians 5:21 states that while Jesus knew no sin, He was made sin for us. While that sounds like a contradiction, where He was made sin while knowing no sin, the key to comprehending this is found within Genesis 4:7 where Cain was told that sin is laying at the door and sin's desire was for Cain, but that Cain should rule over sin. This is why 1 John 1:8 states that if we say that we have no sin, we are liars.
The only conclusion that reconciles is that due to Adam's transgression, his body became corrupt and therefore every offspring and descendant would be born with the same corrupted flesh. This is what the doctrine of original sin means. We who are born in the image of Adam, as Adam was the only man that was born from the dust of the earth directly, have the same corrupted flesh. In our ignorance, we transgressed the Creator's Law containing every commandment and instruction for righteousness. The way to stop sinning is by doing what the Law commands and instructs. It does not mean that we will no longer have a body of corrupt flesh if we keep the Law, that is until 1 Corinthians 15 where those worthy through repentance, reverence, obedience and faith (narrow way) in conjunction with being atoned through the death and shed blood of the Messiah (narrow gate) will receive bodies of incorruption and immortality.
So for anyone hung up on a doctrine of theism that claims obedience to the Law is placing yourself under it, just realize that the theist who came up with that doctrine was promoting lawlessness, which is addressed in Matthew 7:21-23. Obedience doesn't place you under the Law, but rather disobedience places you under the law of sin and death, which states those guilty of sin, which is transgression of the Law according to 1 John 3:4, are worthy of death and destruction of both body and soul in the fire.
Here is a comparison that will help you see what I'm pointing out. Consider a company notifying of an opening to work for them. You respond to the notification and go through an interview. Regardless of your qualifications, the company's focus is your adherence to their rules and regulations as well as how you represent them. If you perform with excellence, you will be promoted with rewards and status, but if you perform poorly, you will experience consequences such as warning, reprimand, demotion, or even termination. If you dedicate your life to being their employee, you will be rewarded with a pension to take care of you during retirement, but if you are a "problem" and engage in dishonorable behavior, you will likely be terminated and forfeit your retirement. Now let's break down this scenario. The company is the kingdom of heaven. The interviewer is the Creator. Your acceptance is repentance, reflective of Exodus 19:8 where you say all that God says I will do. Be a faithful laborer and witness, and you will be rewarded with many rewards. Failure to perform and refusal against obedience and you will be as the cursed fig tree, in addition to your name being blotted out from the book of life.

I can see where it would make sense, but every translation that I find doesn't say anything about the Pharisees actually showing a denarius. Each translation says that they answered his question of Caesar being on the denarius, but it doesn't say that they literally showed him one, therefore perhaps they weren't actually guilty of having the coins in their possession.

    Ezekiel Chapter 18
30Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
31Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
32For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
    John 8:32
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
    Acts 19:20
So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.
    Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
    Revelation 3:10
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

How did Jesus help those that were helpless against the religous leaders.

The sin of sacrifice is imagined to be virtuous. It is not sacrifice that brings us to salvation but mercy. This is true of Jesus, ourselves and the vineyard owner. But the writers of the New Testament ignored this. Matt 12.7 If you had known what these words mean, 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice,' you would not have condemned the innocent.
