Megadeth from the early 2000’s - late 2000’s was honestly some of their best work. Songs like Blackmail the Universe, Kick the Chair, Dread and the Fugitive Mind, Washington is Next, Right to go Insane, How the Story Ends are absolute bangers!
“Breadline” is cool! 😉 “Endgame” the album has several bangers. These are the best tracks imo: “Dialectic Chaos” (intro jam) into -> “This Day We Fight!” “Head Crusher” “1,320”
I'm with you there. I didn't really care for most of their music after Symphony of Destruction. However, their newest album recapture the aggression I've missed
Replace the lyrics RFID chip for C19 vaccination and concentration camp with home lock downs. This song predicted government overreach for control. Hook in the mouth also is as relevant today as when it was written. Dystopia album is a banger with great lyrics … like lying in state, post American World, The threat is real.
After risk was the world needs a hero . Not as bad but still not good. Then chris poland came back for one record , System has failed and megadeth was mostly back Endgame , united abominations , dystopia and the new album are all solid 2000s megadeth metal records . Theres some less metal stinker albums mixed in there but thats okay. Megadeth always put out albums twice as fast as metallica so its not as bad when one sucks and theres usually a few gems to be found even on those records

I never could get into Breadline. There are a few gems on Risk, but it’s never been an album I listen to much at all.
