Notice how Makoto was more than ready to throw hands right there despite still not being ready to face the goddess, also Makoto's whole snarky attitude there was very satisfying to see. Clearly Makoto is no longer the same person he was during their first meeting, that's the progression I was hoping to see here.🤩

He should have made her beg. But dang - the way things are right now, the BchGodess either (a) can't kill him or (b) needs the kind of strength only he has. He's got some leverage right now... would be so satisfying to see him get even stronger.
Even in the novels you won't get any satisfaction between Makoto and the B*tch's conflict. She remains alive and well which IMO is really annoying as a fan.
She doesn't kill him because of her promise to his parents, she loves them, but at the same time resent them. Makoto is technically her apostle (in name only, not bound). While Hibiki and Tomoki is just a hero.
So, people are speculating that based on the goddess's standards for beauty, and claiming she's not originally from this world, she may be Aphrodite from Greek mythology.
Oh, Joe. I GREATLY look forward to your reaction to next week's episode. It will ROCK. 6:13 So, that Gods drama is awesome, but this is all ya get for now. Look forward to finding more out. Now, how many isekais do ya get to see the protag-kun get to talk shite to the being that isekai'd them, eh?!?
8:25 To answer, I'll have to get into WN spoilers of sorts (enough clues are given to figure it out, but some of the details aren't made explicit by this point): . . . . . The goddess is very lazy, so the language ability she gave him at the start is actually _not_ a unique blessing she made. Instead, she took the deific ability to understand and speak all language, blocked out the Hyuman language (the only one that matters to her, making the rest useless in her eyes), and gave Makoto that. Now she just unblocked that last piece, giving Makoto something mortals aren't supposed to have.
Sadly that will not happen. Look how much trouble they had with Shiki. I know Emma is strong, but she's not that strong unfortunately. Besides, she's cute enough as she is.
Want to mention this for all that don't know. There's various stuff that has been left out of the anime adaptation. That would give more info in the story. That actually could answer some questions, that viewers have. Even stuff that the manga adaptation has, that the anime doesn't. I'm guessing stuff had to be cut, even with getting a 2 cour season 2. Which is a shame, but time is usually something that studios have to factor in.
He has more mana than her, but he only recently found a method of even using a decent amount of it. (The Mana Matter) So it's unlikely that he could overpower her here. If you really want to know, though... No, he's not stronger than her at this point. THAT BEING SAID, she does mention her own circumstances. The series will go into more detail about what those circumstances are. Depending on how far this season goes, they may just include this information in the last episode. Otherwise it would be in the first episodes of next season. Either way, that part of the story gives a HUGE amount of information about powerlevels.
Nope, the gods are not a joke, Makoto's mana will be abysmal but the gods let's just say are "built different", even so, Makoto is already in a position where he is slowly but surely approaching that level.
He might have broken her barrier completely if he had removed the rings, coat and Sakai. Beating her down probably not yet. Well even the BUG doesn't know exactly how much mana Makoto has at that time since he keeps most of his Sakai concealing his mana level even when he is in front of her. Makoto is a lot more savage in the webnovel since the BUG refuses to show up in person at first.
I've read up to about ch 365 of the WN (the anime would be up to about 151) and am yet to see the the Godess fight. He does spar with another Godess (Athena) and Makoto loses, despite Athena using no equipment and only basic magic. However while she keeps a calm face, she swears to never do it again. So he can fight and hurt gods but has no way to defeat them, even if they don't have access to most of their abilities.
Imagine being Eva and Luria and getting that HUGE bombshell dropped on you about Makoto's expectations lmao all while inside the demiplane. I know all the action-horny kids who only watched this show to see the OP MC do something are about to pop boners soon. But that back and forth with him and the goddess was classic. Also she was overriding the curse she put on him to make him learn common, hence why it was causing him pain. I want to know who is the substitute that Tomoe and Mio are gonna put as Makoto's replacement at the academy? I THOUGHT it was going to be Emma before watching her go full badass on the attack lol.
I think he knows her but she's not the girl who he was interested in. Since she got a long with Mio and she's not a psycho like that other hero, I hope they get along.
It's actually the other way around the girl likes him Spoiler....... 2 of them actually both in archery club which he both rejected because makoto knows emotion but is having a hard time comprehending it due to always being close to death in his childhood because of his body constitution
The Female Hero is a Senpai/Senior of Makoto (think she was in her final year while Makoto was a 1st year), though they didn't interact with each other much. Female Hero interacted more with the 2 girls who had a crush on Makoto, which is why she knows him a bit.
The only one who went Isekai are Makoto, Hibiki and Tomoki. The side stories (earth) is actually very interesting to see. I hope the also animated them in Ova or something
Rhetorical question, but it's obviously Aqua She may be useless at times but she is cool, funny and nice. This bitch on the other hand is an insufferably annoying Goddess. Not worthy of that title. More like demon..
