- You've seen them race at the track but what happens behind the scenes? In this clip, we travel to Ginger Tree Farms to see how babies become harness racing champions. Plus, we talk with the farm's managing partner, prominent trainer Sam Beegle, and his team about how they get their stable ready to race.

I used to do that man, great life. My best horse i bought was Lemoyne Hanover. 343,000. A daughter of his, a home bred , Spark and Ride, was my second best horse with earnings of 243,000. I am an old man now, and don't even have 1 horse.....Good video, thanks.
Very good video. I have bet harness without much success.I liked what Sam said " I am not afraid to put a horse in a claimer, you gotta show a profit". I guess that is why I have pulled back from gambling very little profit lots of frustration. But still enjoy watching these you tube vids of "Great Horses" in memorable races. Who else chokes up when Chick says " Secretariat is moving like a tremendous machine"?
There's nothing better than working with horses. I'm a groom in the harness industry and wouldn't trade my job for anything.
