This is where we see that his curse has no effect on the 108 stars. Hey man, this was a great trip in memory lane, but when you inevitably cover the sequels and especially the legendary Suikoden II, I have some insights that you might like to consider. As this is a recap, you pretty much have the structure of the video all planned out, but please don't just satisfy yourself with just recapping. Show us the links between characters in the vast Suikoden universe. Show the viewer that the Suikodenverse is wider and smaller than you think when familiar characters show up to help the player face the amazing world out there. For example, expand on certain character arcs. Think about what Luc must have learnt when he had two front-row seats to civil wars that revolved around True Runes. Highlight the significance of the Silverberg family and their lineage as strategists. Point out to us on what a heavy blessing and curse the Soul Eater Rune is as it slowly causes the deaths of everyone close (emotionally and literally) to the bearer in exchange for more power. Notice how the Soul Eater grants new abilities every time a character close to Tir dies? Hammer in the fact that True Runes will both help and ruin the bearer's lives. Those are just examples from the top of my head. A superfan like yourself could uncover much more lore about the Suikodenverse, right? Finally, please don't just read words off the game dialogue boxes. The viewers can read for themselves. Instead, use your own words in the video. Add your own insights, add lore tidbits, point out your favorite parts, and when a powerful moment happens in the game, tell us why and how it affected you. The people who view this are likely already Suikoden fans themselves, and its always a treat to see other fans showing their joy with the series. And lastly, its pronounced "Kah-ge", not "Cage". I realize this is asking you to do extra work, but I believe that going this extra mile would be all the difference between a good video and a great video. I want you to succeed. I want more people to love Suikoden as much as you. Good luck!

That being said, I thought of doing specific lore such as the SIlverberg family, the true runes, the sindar and what we know in dedicated runes, since alot of it is not really uncovered until the later Suikoden games. You are completely right about my own summation and not the characters specific phrases and I will try to do this! I would love to bounce ideas and lore if you have the time on my discord ^^ good for video ideas like this! Thanks
@Suikoden6 a big boss is one thing, but surviving long enough to bring all heads to low HP to kill them all at the same time so they dont regenerate seemed impossible even with grinding, it was way easier to kill lavos then him, im fine with a giant power house final boss dragon, kinda like divine dragon in Legend of Dragoon, 1 head yet not easy, maybe party composition matters more but it was just hard to comprehend doing

I definitely wanted to interconnect the play through and summation with extended lore but the issue I have is if I start doing it, I have to do it throughout the whole video for consistency and that would turn into more of a 3 hours deep dive which I would love to do, but as a new channel and with the fickle youtube algorithm dependent on watchers watching for the whole duration, I need to think of the best way to include the deeper lore connections.
That being said, I thought of doing specific lore such as the SIlverberg family, the true runes, the sindar and what we know in dedicated runes, since alot of it is not really uncovered until the later Suikoden games.
You are completely right about my own summation and not the characters specific phrases and I will try to do this! Ka geh for shadow is absolutely correct although I do try to do with the Western version of some pronunciations to relate to how the viewer would have read the names on their playthrough for nostalgia value.
There will be lots of Suikoden videos coming up and I have some really nice custom art work for it too! I would love to bounce ideas and lore if you have the time on my discord ^^ good for video ideas like this! Thanks
Used to play this back in the early 80s. Can't believe the game is 40 years old already
Amazing isn't it! I still remember the first time I played it like it was yesterday!
@MinecraftMartin didn't come out in the 80s
@@paulsmith9192 I meant 70s whoops
Ted is a punk!
haha I love that xD Futch takes no prisoners and gave it to Ted straight!
You can spot a true fan when they call it GregMINSTER and not GregMINISTER.
You’re not a true fan
It's a great town ^^ thank you
Final boss to annoying with its regenerating dragon heads, 1 head would be enough
Final boss should always pose a challenge, its Emperor Barbarosa afterall ^^
@Suikoden6 a big boss is one thing, but surviving long enough to bring all heads to low HP to kill them all at the same time so they dont regenerate seemed impossible even with grinding, it was way easier to kill lavos then him, im fine with a giant power house final boss dragon, kinda like divine dragon in Legend of Dragoon, 1 head yet not easy, maybe party composition matters more but it was just hard to comprehend doing
yeh AOE magic can take 2 down at the same time so I guess magic is the way to go!
@Suikoden6 Yeah, that might have been my problem. At least it's not as annoying as chrono cross true ending
The Chrono Cross True ending just cannot be done without a guide I think
Don't be fooled. There's no story in this game. It's just a pokemon game set in medieval fantasy Japan.
Everyone loves some Pokemon ^^
