As a kid learning about the stories you’d be introduced to hanuman Ji when he was a kid at least for me hanuman Ji was the most relatable as a kid especially because it always felt like he is more like us than the divine itself. His loyalty, his composure and pure morals and especially him being able to maintain his childish nature even after growing mature made me connect to him even more.

People are easily attracted to Hanuman ji because of his Bhakti (devotion) to Shri Ram. He is the epitome of what devotion is. Despite being all powerful himself, he credits all his powers as blessings of Bhagwan Shri Ram. Not even for a moment his devotions sway or become doubtful. And people easily get attracted to this. They want to be super powerful but want to be humble and stay grounded, which is very difficult to do.

Once a state of constant remembrance of the Mantra is reached wherein it resonates within your self subconsciously too it starts to effect the surroundings. The intent and focus while chanting a mantra is of utmost importance. Without a clean intent and focus on a Mantra, it is just like reciting the alphabets mechanically. Most important thing is pronunciationbecause, Mantras essentially are phonetics based and have a particular meter to chant. Yes there are 7 cheeranjivis... Ashwatthama, Mahabali or Bali, Hanuman, Vyasa, Vibhasana, Kripa and Parshurama.. These 7 cheeranjivi are still alive and will be until the last form of Lord Vishnu which is Kalki avatar.. Hanuman is supposed to rule Heaven which is right now ruled by Lord Indra but after last avatar of Lord Vishnu the next Indra would be Lord hanuman.. Ashwatthama's story is quite complicated and sad... There is a movie recently came out which is a big success in India call "Kalki 2898" It is a movie based and mixed with all the history elements including the future of Hinduism or Sanatan.. Ashwatthama can be seen even in the trailer of it.. So story of Ashwatthama is first of all his identical feature is a gem on his forehead which gives him power to fight he was in Mahabharat and during the war his father Dronacharya ( who was guru of Pandavas and Kaurvas both) he got the news that his son Ashwatthama is now dead.. after hearing this death news he got sad and left his weapons on the ground while sitting on his knees mourning for his dead son but it was not true Ashwatthama was still fighting and was miles away from his dad.. But when Ashwatthama heard that his father dropped the weapon in mid battlefield he came there but the time he was there he saw that Dhrishtadyumna beheads Dronacharya and Dronacharya was unarmed.. It used to be a ethic rule that no warrior will use his weaon on women,elderly,child, animal and unarmed enemy... But Drishtadyumna beheaded his father so he became so angry that he killed thousands of people on the battlefield and took oath that he will finish all 5 pandavas and only then his anger would be settled.. After the day End the fight came to rest all warriors were back in their camp... Ashwatthama went to pandavas camp and saw 5 people sleeping he thought these 5 are pandavas so he killed them in their sleep but he later find out that those 5 were actually sons of Pandavas.. Meanwhile things were already out of the hands because when Arjun saw his sons are dead in sleep and one name Abhimanyu was already dead in Battlefield he used his Bhramastra ( deadlist weapon of all) on Ashwatthama to counter it Ashwatthama also used the Same weapon.. Until they collide and destroy the earth sages came to arjuna and ashwatthama to convince they should call these weapons back otherwise the being lives on this planet will be destroyed.. Arjun listened and accepted what sages said, He called his weapon back but whereas Ashwatthama who took oath that he will destroy pandavas cleverly changed the route of his weapon towards the wife of Arjuna's son Abhimanyu who was pregnant and the weapon was almost going to harm the womb and the fetus inside her but Lord krishna intervened .. After protecting the fetus Lord Krishna cursed him that what he did is not acceptable and not forgiven.. he cursed ashwatthama that he will roam around on earth until his last avatar and he will protect the Kalki form and will teach things alongside Parshurama.. he will roam on earth without food and water with the body full of dieases.. No will take care of him but he will only be forgiven after the end of the Kaliyuga.. So Karma is everywhere even a powerful warrior like Ashwatthama couldn't able to save himself and yes Lord Krishna took the gem away from him..

Each of the hindu god represents certain aspects of reality with respect to human, for me, pandit ji told me to pray to Saturn god, on saturday, which in hindi is (praying to lord Shani on Shanivaar). When we pray to a certain god, we should not just pray blindly, but rather learn about their qualities and bring them into our lives, That is how the gods will protect you. When u pray to lord hanuman, try to learn about his qualities and behaviours etc. and try to bring that qualities into your life. same with lord shiva, same with other gods. Tuning into the correct frequency and the gods will definitely help you.
hunuman chalisa is a sabar mantra so anyone can use it. you can even only listen it and it will work. and hunuman chalisa is very small i will not suggest buying a whole book for it a small book will do.

Hanuman Ji is very popular deity, and he is also Avatra of lord Shiva and he is son of "Vayu" or "Pawan" that mean Air. Hanuman is also known in different East Asian regions as a different name; Sun Wukong in China I think, Son Goku in Japan (also Goku, the name in the anime comes from there) and also various names in other south East Asian regions. It's definitely difficult to understand how something like this could be possible but the human mind has only been unlocked to a tiny extent in us humans (except yogis, mystics and saints) and there are things that are beyond the current scope of logic of many. However, for those who have experienced some things which are beyond logic, it's more digestible even though it shocks you to your core once you have had certain spiritual experiences. It's almost like being in 3D and being unable to comprehend or visualize what 5D would be like given the limited scopes of current science and our minds.
Also, just to get more familiarized with Hanuman and his story, I would suggest you to watch "The legend of Hanuman" animated series on Hotstar. It's beautifully made. Not sure if it's available outside India. You could probably use a VPN.
Brother, the Hanuman Chalisa is more like a mantra. I recommend watching videos instead of reading books because you might find it difficult to read and understand the texts. Start by watching videos to gain a basic understanding of Sanatan Dharma. Once you have that foundation, you can explore the Puranas, Vedas, and other sacred texts.

Hanuman Chalisa are 40 stanzas invoking, adoring, praising Lord Hanuman, he is very loyal to Lord Ram, he is waiting for him to come back. There are some higher beings that live in a different dimension which exist on this earthly plane. When one reaches a certain level of enlightenment one starts to feel the vibrations of Universe and are open to higher beings (these exist in every culture and religion). Hanumanji is loved by most Indian children, one associates with his stories as little Hanumanji, the fact that he is supposed to help fight darkness, bad entities makes his absolutely adore him. Its in our culture, we grow up listening to stories of our Powerful Goddesses and Gods, instead of listening to fairy tales….the stories are inspiring and enriching. Its in our dna and in our fabric of existence. Thats the best I can express Lord Hanuman and Hanuman Chalisa (I have been reading since I was a little girl and since then I have recited it everyday and shall do it till my last breath on this earth)

Ashwatthama's story is quite complicated and sad... There is a movie recently came out which is a big success in India call "Kalki 2898" It is a movie based and mixed with all the history elements including the future of Hinduism or Sanatan.. Ashwatthama can be seen even in the trailer of it..
So story of Ashwatthama is first of all his identical feature is a gem on his forehead which gives him power to fight he was in Mahabharat and during the war his father Dronacharya ( who was guru of Pandavas and Kaurvas both) he got the news that his son Ashwatthama is now dead.. after hearing this death news he got sad and left his weapons on the ground while sitting on his knees mourning for his dead son but it was not true Ashwatthama was still fighting and was miles away from his dad.. But when Ashwatthama heard that his father dropped the weapon in mid battlefield he came there but the time he was there he saw that Dhrishtadyumna beheads Dronacharya and Dronacharya was unarmed.. It used to be a ethic rule that no warrior will use his weaon on women,elderly,child, animal and unarmed enemy... But Drishtadyumna beheaded his father so he became so angry that he killed thousands of people on the battlefield and took oath that he will finish all 5 pandavas and only then his anger would be settled.. After the day End the fight came to rest all warriors were back in their camp... Ashwatthama went to pandavas camp and saw 5 people sleeping he thought these 5 are pandavas so he killed them in their sleep but he later find out that those 5 were actually sons of Pandavas.. Meanwhile things were already out of the hands because when Arjun saw his sons are dead in sleep and one name Abhimanyu was already dead in Battlefield he used his Bhramastra ( deadlist weapon of all) on Ashwatthama to counter it Ashwatthama also used the Same weapon.. Until they collide and destroy the earth sages came to arjuna and ashwatthama to convince they should call these weapons back otherwise the being lives on this planet will be destroyed.. Arjun listened and accepted what sages said, He called his weapon back but whereas Ashwatthama who took oath that he will destroy pandavas cleverly changed the route of his weapon towards the wife of Arjuna's son Abhimanyu who was pregnant and the weapon was almost going to harm the womb and the fetus inside her but Lord krishna intervened .. After protecting the fetus Lord Krishna cursed him that what he did is not acceptable and not forgiven.. he cursed ashwatthama that he will roam around on earth until his last avatar and he will protect the Kalki form and will teach things alongside Parshurama.. he will roam on earth without food and water with the body full of dieases.. No will take care of him but he will only be forgiven after the end of the Kaliyuga.. So Karma is everywhere even a powerful warrior like Ashwatthama couldn't able to save himself and yes Lord Krishna took the gem away from him..

Each of the hindu god represents certain aspects of reality with respect to human, for me, pandit ji told me to pray to Saturn god, on saturday, which in hindi is (praying to lord Shani on Shanivaar). When we pray to a certain god, we should not just pray blindly, but rather learn about their qualities and bring them into our lives, That is how the gods will protect you. When u pray to lord hanuman, try to learn about his qualities and behaviours etc. and try to bring that qualities into your life. same with lord shiva, same with other gods. Tuning into the correct frequency and the gods will definitely help you.

Hanuman is also known in different East Asian regions as a different name; Sun Wukong in China I think, Son Goku in Japan (also Goku, the name in the anime comes from there) and also various names in other south East Asian regions. The important thing to note is, all these regions share a similar deity idea of someone that is a ‘Monkey/Ape-Man God’ of sorts that represents strength, protection, loyalty and other various things. There’s a movie released recently called ‘Monkey Man’, made by the famous star Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire). It’s based off ideas of Hanuman:)
Another thing, hanuman is also known for his childlike innocence, fierce loyalty to Ram-Sita, his strength, immortality and celibacy.
