Hey, thanks, I appreciate it! 😊 Yeah, it was a lot of fun trying out all the (new) sounds and features. It's quite different to play a hardware synth when you're used to working mainly with virtual instruments.
@@djjas764 Yes, it was so much fun to play the patches (especially the FM pianos and other keyboard drums, I didn't focus so much on other bread and butter sounds like guitars, basses, drums, woodwinds etc. this time). It must be said that the (new) Montage is much more expensive than the Motifs used to be (as, of course, many things have become more expensive in recent years). Nevertheless, I would say yes, absolutely worth the money. The biggest disadvantage of the Montage M for me personally is the weight! I prefer lighter keyboards myself and the Montage is one of the heavier ones. But that's more of a personal preference on my part. With the new features and the new virtual analog section, it's worth the money either way.
Hey man nice playing! Would you say the keybed of the 7 is good enough for playing piano? Just curious to know more about the keybed and how you enjoy it?
I have a Korg Kronos 2 + zillion sounds for it....the problem is that there is very little to none what Montage M can offer compared to Kronos :(... Maybe the Korg were head of times with this keyboard in 2011.
I think the Montage is better at bread and butter sounds than at really crazy stuff. But it's incredibly powerful, you can import your own samples and with the new VA engine you can now do warm and fat analog sounds.
Do you mean the Kronos? Can you elaborate? I always found editing programs and combinations very cumbersome because programs are not saved as part of a combination, but always separately, as far as I remember.
I don't hear and feel a big difference from these types of keyboards than from 10 years ago. You're a great musician and are very articulate.
Beautiful sounds and beautiful playing!! 👍

Wow, that sonic range! Very impressiv and well presented! 😍
Thank you 😊
Nice playing. The felt piano is really cool. Much better than the Nord felt piano.
Awesome demo! Some of your stylings remind me of 90s Rippingtons… too cool for school. 😉
Wow this sounds amazing! I’m sold!
Thanks David :)

Multis (combis) that do not depend on single voices. All effects are automatically included when you combine multiple sounds to a performance.
Что за волшебные мелодии, очень красиво
Thank you! :)
I am a keyboard player, not for the bread and butter, but for quirky and unusual purposes. Is the montage just bread and butter?

@@studioonetutorials Thanks, I just ordered the M7 after much cross-checking and research of other synths in the same price range :)
Nice. Korg is better though.

Nope. Korg is inferior compared to Yamaha's very flexible synthesis engine.
@@Byron101_ the modeling is nearly the same without Yamaha there would be no Korg and vice versa. In reality they are shared technology
