    if you listen and analyse his words carefully you'll conclude that he's very optimistic. instead of crying on loopholes he tries to fill them, a perfect upsc material. he never gave a sweeping statement on any politician. a line he quoted " do what you can and the can will grow gradually" what a guy!

    142 crores overpopulated , corrupt with Colonial systems makes difficult for honest go getters to work . 6000 IAS and 4500 IPS are too Less to manage the country . Experienced Officers must write how to overhaul the utterly corrupt inefficient slothful system .

    I have great respect for Shri Anil Swaroop Sir. I’m a ex-coal India executive and I have heard him while he was coal secretary. I was working in ccl from 2013 to 2016 in Magadh Amrapalli area, mining in this project was halted since more than 20 yrs due various reasons but the project started producing coal in 2014 from Amrapalli and in 2015 from Magadh. Now this two projects are back bone of Ccl. But the pilferage of coal from these two projects and from Piparwar is so much that nobody can imagine. The quantum of money involved in pilferage is unbelievable. It’s totally uncontrollable and everyone including the ministry seems to be involved. Mr Swaroop did well but failed to control ground realities. Sitting in Delhi doesn’t help. Ministry must have greater control over the ground realities.

    • @manishgrover720
      @manishgrover720 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Pilferage has been happening since independence and with full support from Netas. Thats where huge amount of money is made. I have seen it from close quarters since my Father was a mining engineer running the mine in Dhanbad area near Ranchi and we would stay in collieries in the coal belt. Let me narrate an interesting incident.
      One of the Union leaders in 60ies in Bihar who would not work and create issues, would never go to the mine but would mark his attendance was hauled up by my father. He created huge ruckus and threatened to strike but my father was a tough taskmaster. The day he started the strike, my father suspended him and those were the days of mine mafias and they were very strong and supported by politicians. This Union Leader created an uproar, police came in and lot of things happened, my father's senior pushed for his reinstatement but my father refused to take him back. In a year or two, my father got another assignment by Coal India and he was posted to a mine in Maharashtra. This labour leader who was suspended got into politics, later became a MLA and then Chief Minister of Bihar and then a Union Minister of Labour and Employment, all under Congress Govt. He happened to meet up with my father when he was the minister in one of the conferences where my father was the speaker. He came to him and told him if he recognised him and said if it was not for him being suspended, he would not have joined active politics and was thanking my father and was very humble. He also said that he respected my father immensely because my father never compromised. The name of the leader/ Minister was Bindeshwari Dubey.

    Finally you should have asked him how comesome IAS officers keep accumulating 100s of crore (even 800 crore!!) and their seniors kepp rating them 'outstanding' and they keep getting promoted. aren't the seniors equally guilty of doing nothing about what is happening under their nose. And one may feign ignorance but if that's the case then what kind of a leader you are.

    I worked under many IAS. There are few who perform their duties sincerely. Most of them are of extreme corrupt, arrogant anti subordinate and don’t consider humans to Non IAS employees. Always in search of freebies. I just want to tell that son and daughter of my one senior most IAS officer were studying in US. The officer instructed to purchase a sophisticated HP colour printer of about Rs 3 lakh cost in the year 2000. The printer was only used to photocopy of the books required for their children. The husband of this officer was also IAS and considered to be the most corrupt officer in Government Circles.

      Don’t tell ki what they bought tell us how they got that money . Studying in USA is not a problem if they doing it by their own money , my relative is a sepoy in army his son is also studying in USA .and how I will tell you he saved money and invested it properly and his son was got placement from nit he worked there for a year and now he is in USA . So it doesn’t imply anything if one is studying or buying anything, the problem is how they got that money.

    This individual exemplifies the art of diplomacy, a trait common among IAS officers. His approach to addressing complex issues is masterful-he acknowledges the challenges but balances them with careful wording, aligning with his personal perspectives while preserving the government’s image. I wouldn’t be surprised if he eventually takes on a ministerial role in the Rajya Sabha, given his skill in navigating these nuanced situations

If IT and GST can be government focus why is same department not working on helping to bring in technology in our day to day requirement from government! Collection is top priority no so much focus on GST / Income Tax exist but why can’t government bring transparency in their services/systems on priority!! You should have aksed him how to stop the coal scam. If he digitised then how come coal and mining scmas still happening in jharkhand. IAS Pooja singhal , IAS Sameer Vishnoi and Renu IAS all in jail in the coal levy tax scam. How could his technology solve it? And if so why aren't the IAS solving it? All that he did was beat about the bush when you asked hom about the elephant in the room - corruption in the IAS

      @@humblestudent633Every other day there is an IAS with 100s of crore. Yesterday some moinder singh was caught from UP in NOIDA scam. It's okay if he has a book to sell but he isn't the crusader against corruption he thinks he is. most are spineless including him and find their voice post retirement when they are irrelevant

      jitna corruption unke samne aya utne se nipte,
      IAS akele boss nhi hota, office ka part hota hai,
      system me lakhon corrupt log hain aur wo 1 admi hai,

    His opinion is different and highly Impractical bcoz System is Run by Politician+ his counterpart bureaucrats.
    Also, Mr.Swarup is Not taking Names of corrupt person.
