I never even thought to consider gummi bears as a "healthy" food but this is genius. Already planning out using clear whey as flavoring to get even more protein in there as well as adding some oat or potato fiber to make them more filling. Might also be worth it to make a batch using multivitamin drink mix.
Yo, just wanted to say that less calories/more protein does not equal healthy 😭LOL but this video definitely opened my eyes too, but uh, please keep in mind things like gut health. Highly processed things are baddddd
@@EpicRobloxTomboy Technically you are correct, but less calories and more protein is going to equal to "healthy" for the overwhelming majority of people because hardly anyone really struggles to hit their carb and fat macro goals. And if they ever do a couple Reeses cups will sort them out immediately and very cheaply. But if you're craving something sweet while maintaining a calorie deficit it's good to have an option that's not several hundred calories of fat and sugar.
I used the skittle drink packet and it was pretty good. I then used propel drink packets and it was AWESOME. How do I keep them in solid state without them staying cold? After 24 hours I took them out of the fridge and they all melted several hours later
Try for yourself, I am sure nobody here tried. But If I was to guess, I would say no, its not possible. Where do you live that beef gelatin is hard to find?
@RahulKamat I tried it with pink Starburst flavor pack. It was ok, but I feel like there could be much better flavors to use. I'm going to get the Skittles flavor tomorrow and probably a fruit punch one, too 👍🏻 But other than finding a flavor that I like, the process was extremely easy and definitely worth making 💜
Dumb question maybe, but I indeed am scared of all the chemicals in those paquets. If I buy a pineapple, make my own juice with it, and use it instead of the packets, does the recipe still work ? Thanks a lot for posting this, your recipes are always original
Just so you guys know, these are going to have a texture closer to Jell-O than to Haribo. Actual gummy bears also have corn syrup added, which provides a textural component in addition to sweetness. In case he already mentioned this, oops
Just asked this question..... No need to answer my question, Rahul... Sorry for not reading comments before asking! Super excited bc I have molds already, a little gelatin left from my "fruit juice" gummies I tried (they're terrible btw lol) but I already use the Skittles drink packets for my kids so I'm about to go make a batch! Hey Rahul, in a lot of your recipes or other health recipes I see people using PBfit, is there any substitution for that If you have allergies to nuts?
Many fitness influencers have sadly died shredded because they thought ingredients or cosmetic procedures would never kill them. Now they're all dead for such ignorance. I say go for a recipe that contains minimal organic sugar and no chemicals because that's healthier than just chemicals with no sugar.
@@perfectsoulmates2023 you refer to bodybuilders or fake natties who died because they used steroid & other gear ... plenty of scientific evidence that the low amount of artificial sweetener a person can consume per day has no significant risks on your health ... you would need to consume the equivalent of 200-300x of a regular unit of artificial sweetener to potentially face any signifcant health risks
You could use a natural electrolyte drink mix packet if you don’t want the sweeteners and red40, and maybe some natural food dyes like blueberry beetroot or cabbage juice
One thing to remember is that despite not being the best for building muscle, the fact that most of the calories are from protein means that your body is working harder to break down that protein. Makes the gummy bears that much better for staying shredded.

No. Pineapple will “eat” away the gelatin due to the enzyme “bromelain.” Unless you use canned and not fresh.
