In 2009 US Marine Raider, Aaron Silton was shot in the face in Afghanistan during a 20-hour firefight with the Taliban. His grueling physical and mental recovery included over 50 surgeries and years of therapies. Golf became a focus of his recovery which he credits with saving his life. The physical and mental requirements of the sport helped him shift into a positive mindset and bring him where he is today.

Wow i grew up & went to school with Aaron grade 1-12. I had no idea he went thru so much. I’m so sorry he went thru all that but I am so proud of the man he’s become! Wishing you years of happiness and joy. -Emily Rohs

I served with Aaron in the Marines. We went to MOS school together, served in the same unit together, and lived in the same barracks. I recently found a picture of us helocasting together in Chesapeake Bay. He might sound a little different these days but I can assure you that he is still very much the same hard charger he ever was. Get some Silton!
