Honestly man I don’t, his screams kinda went to shit in 2012 which later on we all found out why but still I wanted him out way before his health got worse, like to me he should have left right when Shay left. Besides all that, Of Mice & Men is so much better now that Aaron took over all vocals and stopped playing bass, the energy is back up and their music is so much heavier now.
I never realized how much I love this music.. the lyrics.. the message.. I lost my way when I started drinking alcohol.. I'm finally speaking out about my depression because of this band.. You're Not Alone brought me to tears.. reminded me of the talent I have screaming.. I paid alot of close attention to lyrics from metalcore bands these past few days.. and it quite literally hit close to my heart

Aaron's mic doesn't seem to be working properly but I still like hearing his voice. Every time I hear his voice it reminds me of him back in Jamie's Elsewhere.

His mic was not lined-in correctly, it should've been output through the speakers and the live recording simultaneouly. That means he can be heard out of the speakers, but not in the live recording.

Aw man.. this... this just seems sad. Crowd wise anyway. A few weeks ago, May 2nd to be exact, Of Mice & Men played Carolina Rebellion. We were all squished in together, there was almost no room to move. Almost all 150,000 people at that festival where there for these guys. Not even 60 seconds in crowd surfers coming from every angel and mosh pits everywhere. But this, Rock In Rio, this is just sad. I'm not sure what the lineup was but this doesn't seem like a very good festival at all.
Sarah B I think LP and Metallica were headlining this. No boubt, Rise against, Hollywood undead, the pretty reckless. That's kind of it for rock I think

I was in that crowd. I can tell you that I started the First pit of the day. However, on Bones Exposed, security came in and broke up the pit that we were forming cause they thought fist where going to be thrown. It really killed the momentum

I thought the crowd was alright for early in the morning at an all day hot music festival like RiR.
It sucks that people like that get tickets but don't do anything at any of the shows. But there are people that cant afford tickets that would actually have fun.

Jaume Pascual Roig honestly I dont think it was that bad. It's a very open space and the stage is very large. Put this crowd in theatre they usually play and it would be full. Plus the fact that it wasn't the main stage, it's pretty good.

overall I think they are pretty tight live and at least they can sound like their recordings, I do think that Aaron Pauley is a bit shakey on the vocals and needs to focus on keeping his mouth at the mic at all times whilst singing because you notice the singing drops in volume, But still good performance.
I love austin but i find it kinda weird that their only radio hit is the song where Aaron sings...hes got a great clean voice and i loved jamies elsewhere. I think of mice and men deserve a better spot to play than this but this is such a huge show with huge bands they were just probably happy to be on the bill even though they are playing at like 10am it seems. The crowd is still asleep.
