Just because you are homeless doesn't mean you don't have to pick up after yourself just sad this is what gives homeless people a bad name SMDH!!!
This camps need to GO!
Folks. Those are meth and opioid camps. Which is number one reason for homelessness in Oregon. I know. I left my birth state of Oregon last year.
gotta ban alcohol and cars
Best comment👍👌
The only clear choice to end this type of violence
Don't drink and drive!
Don't sleep right next to a busy intersection
Maybe don't sleep next to a highway.
Bums.
DEMOCRAP city and state.. u re filling your states with that population
Could have been prevented if you got a job and stopped drugs😂 I’m not trying to belittle what the drunk driver did. But my gosh. If you pity most of these homeless people.. you haven’t had to deal with them enough. The good ones are lost among all the bad ones.
not all homeless people use drugs and some homeless people actually work just can't afford roofs over their heads 4 ppl died and u taking it as a joke it's people like you is why the world is in the bad shape its in wouldn't be funny if u got covid
There are safer places, but that entails working.
Or putting down the crack pipe.
Sometimes even that isn't safe
Hmmmm.... Maybe these "people" shouldn't have their tents on the side of the road. The driver deserves no sentence unless he was inebriated.
Homeless camps shouldn't be next to a road as cars occasionally fly off the road.
Sorry, you are much to logical for liberal governments.

That's what I call the "L" word when talking to my liberal friends.
Off subject , cute cat. I'm a big cat person.
That was no accident
People died
The homeless problem is out of control all up and down the entire Westcoast and its sad
Dont lump all homeless together
Big difference between actual homeless people and junkies who choose drugs over getting on their feet .
We’ll be happy in knowing that Oregon is soft on crime so the driver will be out soon.
I hope so nice guy
Don’t blame the crime here David Michael it has been going on a long time, the elected officials don’t listen
We just want a free safe place to go, lol
So this is how they are fixing the homeless problem, very creative.
Funny they call them Camp sites in the middle of a city lol
Notice how Oregon makes sure to show the California license plate in their report?
My condolences to the families who lost their loved ones.
@@daveydudely9954 or their families were tired of supporting a drug addicted loser. So now tax payers are forced to take care of them.
One way to fix the homeless problem
immigrants with no paper work, no English come here every days and make it. Tell why he can't clean up?
This could be any one of us! These people have enough problems without adding hate to it. No one should have to live like this, while the super rich buy up multiple homes in our state as vacation homes & drive up our rents and home prices. That kind of money could go a long way to helping people to recover from the addictions and to lead better lives, as well as get them out of the cold and wet and danger.
You realize that there are already recovery homes and place to get these people off the street, but they require people to keep a curfew and not use drugs…. At a point it’s no longer societies fault, these people have free will and they choose to live on the streets. Stop blaming everyone else for what is clearly a personal responsibility 🙄
Just let them in your house then
My guess is you won't
“…Could be any one of us!”
…um, no. If you think so, you’re delusional.
I agree with you but judging by the three comments before mine, we've got a long way to go in education before we can ever deal with something like this.
the hate and misinformation runs so deep I fear we will never have a viable solution.
after feeding the homless on a regular basis, my compasssion has grown a lot for my bros and sisters.
they are an addicted people that our society no longer loves. this can change if we desire.
i live in salem. It was a drunk driver with a .26% alcohol level. his name is Enrique Rodriguiz and he is 24
If only we could get the homeless off the streets....
....and into the ground
Get a job you look like a healthy young man

People pretend they care about other people but if they are around homeless people they show their true colors
A good start.
Devils advocate here...what do homeless people contribute to society? Do they pay taxes or do they use your tax money? Do they respect private property or pick up their trash? Just asking questions, I know homeless people have problems, We All have problems...just saying
They contribute nothing at all. Just like the super rich.
@@valerielewis7870 that’s a fair point
Socialized losses
