I'm sorry but that new engine is gonna run like crap with all those gopro mini cameras in the cylinders, oil pan, valve covers and cam journals. I hate to be "that guy" but I did some internet research and I'm absolutely sure about this one.
Bedford is done & dusted with what Al & Woody have done. It's away at another shop getting electrics, engine cover & maybe paint. Then it off to the dyno to get some numbers then off to the drag strip. You obviously weren't listening when it left the building.
18:00 the beat, I SO wish to see The Binky guys cruise with Alan& Woody and Moog & Marty having the "Baby" tune modded to " Binky". These are the best channels on TH-cam and I know that you guys would have so much fun together. A creative bunch of automotive wizards and storytellers. Get it on !
Getting better and better!!! I really enjoy Woody's narration, Al's amazing experience and the video production is improving constantly! Probably my favourite show on TH-cam.
Nice to have both though. One is professionals, the other is enthusiastic amateurs...... I too prefer skid factory for the more technical side but Marty and Moog created it. Credit where credit is due I guess. Both shows are much better then any shit on TV at least!
Cool build, To start an old car, as most people are not old enough to have this information, yet I've had the privilege of driving a few- 1. Pump the gas pedal all the way to the floor 4 times. 2. Start car . This works for most old classic cars that are in "running" condition. Great show mates.
Wow, that nova is in amazing condition. My grandfather had one, and I still wish to this day I got to keep it after he passed away. Beautiful cars. It's awesome your gonna surprise the owner with a better engine. Really gonna enjoy this series.
This is so well done and the quality is way past several acctual TV shows. Amazing work guys. Amazing. I can't stand the clickbait stuff " I bought a car for a million will it run" This is the real stuff acctual entertainment.
Them little novas are such a dream car. Relatively small (for their time) but can fit a massive V8 easily. Have seen people put Corvette suspension part in there and they don't handle like a cruise liner like they once did. Respect for the decision to keep the motor looking original. That car looks super clean OEM.
I love that you love our Americana V8 simpleness. I liken these motors to a 12 gauge pump action. Simply effective at most things but makes for a POWERFUL BLAST!!! 💥 🔥 💨
I love these. I helped rebuild the engine for a 1972 Nova SS my senior year of high school, then visited Australia just after graduation and discovered Holden. For those unfamiliar, this thing was basically our Monaro. I’d like to see Chevrolet bring the name back for their next compact.
Ok, so...the mate wanted a TBI setup. He’s getting a *cough, LS* replacement engine that will superficially resemble the engine coming out. He’s getting a complete vehicle rewire. (Btw, American Auto Wire is AMAZING, fyi.). I hope he appreciates your intentions and efforts, guys. Tbh, I don’t imagine these videos would be getting posted if the guy was unhappy with the outcome. So, skipping ahead to the reveal, so to speak, we can trust the good intentions, and focus on the technical efforts and expertise of the people involved. One trick to building an LS when taking the front cover and oil pan off, You should add a dab of gasket maker to the corners of where the pan/front cover/block meet together and also on the back of the pan where the pan meets the rear cover/block. they are known to piss oil out of there over time.
