That shocked me when I was there. After going to Palestine and seeing some of the infrastructure, meeting some of the people, I learned never to let the media shape my worldview.

15 day stays in Bethlehem 2018 and frequent bus ride to Jerusalem... Very safe and meaningful. Just be careful taxis driver will overcharge and take you for a spin. Lots of walking up and downhill at key places.

I do agree with you that not all Palestinians are poor and some of them are wealthy. However, keep in mind that Bethlehem is a place where tourists and pilgrims from all over the world come and spend their money on food, accommodation in hotels and hostels, souvenirs and different items as well. So it is safe to say that many whom work in the tourism industry are doing well for themselves. Tourist in general aren't taken to the other part and don't witness the poverty. In every country in the world you will find slums and places struck by poverty and that goes same for the Palestinians living in the West Bank. A 10 minute drive from the city center and you can begin to see the slums. Unfortunately, In Israel there are places which are struck with poverty as well. I am just commenting on what you mentioned and giving you a deeper insight. I am not pro this or that, I am pro all people I enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing

I am from India...i saw one video in which Sergio and rhoda were eating shwarma...i never had shwarma in my life before so i ordered here locally and ate it...it turned out to be chicken shwarma...it was good...was upset they don't sell mutton or lamb shwarma here.
Ok then you pretty much confirmed what I thought MSM hides the truth that the Palestinian's do have their have and have nots! We rarely if ever see the prosperous side of Palestinian's just the slums and worse! Glad you got back safe and sound from your trip to the dark side lol

We have a friend, a believer, who lives in Gaza, which is the Palestinian territory across the country from Bethlehem. He said that they have high rises, and new roads, etc.. But the people there (mostly Christians) do suffer from the Hamas authorities, with all the curfews and crazy laws they come up with, like no one (whether Muslim or Christian) is allowed to eat during ramadan and whoever does is caught goes to jail. Or like the camp that was mentioned in the last Prophecy Update! But other than that, its not the all-under-rubble that the media shows.
We went there & went into First Baptist on a corner; the Pastor spoke with us; also went to a shop where the arab Christians were and bought items.They have a very rough time there.

Bethlehem get's 3 million tourists a year so it's a bit more affluent than average Palestinian cities. Ramallah is also a more affulent city due to the PA government there, and Rawabi is designed to be fore upper class people. The most poverty stricken areas are the refugee camps
I have family from Jersualem and while working on Kibbutz Gat back in the day , I had no interest in going to Bethelem either . Love ISrael . Mecca awaits you both Sergio and Rhoda.
