Another good video, I was looking at one of these Deity a little while ago as very annoying having to turn the mic around when talking with the camera. Need something like a tascam for my canon g7x mk2 to hide its annoying auto focus sound 😑 Wanted the mk3 for the mic input but it has bad focus, can't win. Good content gave you a sub
Thanks for the video Brian. Very informative. So what would you recommend for all around mic now? I am doing live streaming for the church service and my subject is only 1 to 2 meters from the camera. What is the best mic to use. I also have a zoom L-20 mixer and atem mini. Please advise

I have my Deity Duo attached to my GoPro Hero 12 and have had nothing but trouble with it. It constantly "pops" through my entire vlog. Any suggestions?
I have this one, but have yet been able to make it sound as good as this. They sent me out the new D4 mini, but I haven’t opened it yet for a comparison. It’s same as duo, but it comes with only front capsule & a trs to trrs in addition to the trs to trs cable. All for only $49

I bought one and am having terrible problems with wind. The audio just keeps cutting out as I speak. Out of the wind is wonderful. But when it's on sale it's horrible. Does anyone know how to resolve?
Hi! I heard there was a new updated version of the Deity Duo 4. Featured in @RayValencia video.
Saw that they updated the wind muffs to better ones and it really combats the wind.
But idk, I'm also thinking about buying this microphone. LMK if you have the new version and please tell me if its working or not :)

The rear-facing microphone sounds waaaaaay better than the front-facing one.
That's only because you're so much closer to it when pointing the camera away from you, versus holding it out for selfie vlogging. Listen to the voiceover during the features section. That was the front mic, with dead cat, 2" from my mouth as a VO mic.
