"You say that as if you were the first man alive to think it."
Yep...but he exploits it better than anyone.
You have to be slow of mind if you don't think Baelish knew. He does a double take and lingers on her not once but 3 times, then mentions her mother to see her reaction. How this is even debatable is beyond me.
some people still get covid booster shots and wear a mask alone in their car.
0:48 when the teacher calls on you in class and you haven't been paying attention........
"To the Starks if Winterfell". If he yelled at me like that i'd prolly cry my eyes out.
I was holding my breath for the whole time. lol
I love scenes where intelligent villains bring their cruel and incompetent underlings to heel
The Tyrells have the largest host (at least during the War of the five Kings) they had 80k soldiers, the Lannisters 60k, The Martells 50k, The Arryns 45k, the Baratheons 30k, the Starks 20k, The Tullys 15k, and the Greyjoys 5-10k
Tullys should have 45K but their bannermen are unruly and unreliable, they got smashed early on, and their best commander was in the Vale.
@@godemperorofmankind3.091 might be heresy to say this but that can’t be right big E, if the Starks can muster only 18,000 there is no way in hell that the Tullys can muster that many. I’d guess it’s either the same or just slightly more. It’s probably more populous and more dense so I’d guess maybe 20? 25,000 at most. Anyway, long live the emperor
@@YorkusPorkus757 the riverlands is indeed fertile and populated with alot of strong knights but their bannermen think the Tullys are basically upjumped trouts and are more interested in fighting each other than helping the Tullys out. in the Rebellion, fully half stayed with King Aerys.
@@YorkusPorkus757 The North can rally 45,000, but it's a large area. They only have 20,000 immediately available. The Martells actually only have around 15,000, but embellish their numbers to look more formidable. The Lannisters can only rally 45,000 but can afford sellswords, which boast their numbers to 65,000.
Tywin's face at 0:56 gets me every time. Haha pure rage in his eyes over what is a comical and costly mistake on the part of his subordinate.
Wouldn't you get pissed if highly classified information got sent to the enemy by one of your own commanders? Because he somehow doesn't know how to read or is incredibly incompetent? Especially when the enemy has one of your friends or relatives held hostage and you have no idea if they are okay or not?
@@TimberlakeTigerGirl oh if I was a medieval commander I'd have had the fool demoted and publicly flogged at minimum.
He was about to start with that 'ChAoS iS a LaDdeR' bullshit and he got humbled real quick 😂😂😂
actually I think that littlefinger has understand that she's arya he's just have a plan ...
There is no house lannister without tywin.
Arya's face at 1:46 is like oh shit
+Sound W I know, EPIC!
+Muhammad Umer ...Why is there is an image?
sure, muhammed was an pedophile, you just try to act like your holy prophed dont you?
now you just have to trade with slaves, start wars, and slaughter civilians and you perfectly simulate the real muhammed
+Gardstyle35 The fuck man? You don't know anything.
Kaname Fujiwara
mohammed married 6 year old aisha and made her a woman when she got 9.
are you a muslim? if so you should educate yourselfe about mohammed pbuh :D and read the quran dude, the earth is flat, our solar system has 11 planets etc..
Always so amazing to see conversations between great villains but different type of villains. Tywin and Littlefinger, Roose Bolton and Littlefinger.
Would've loved to have seen Aerys and Tywin and Tywin and Roose Bolton. I wonder if the Night's King can speak Common?
Maisie's acting in this scene is, imo, even better than Charles'. Even though she doesn't speak, her reactions are just perfect.
Hard to say if he recognized her, I think he was about to, but was more concerned about his discussion with Tywin going well, so didn't want to get distracted in the middle of it.
+Andrew B I'd say he did, but revealing her wouldn't serve his interests, so he kept it secret
+Andrew B He definitely recognized her. He even pointed it out in conversation with Sansa in season 3. Didn't go into specifics, but he definitely knew it was her.
Andrew B Littlefinger recognized her but didn't want to say it because it wouldn't be to his advantage.
If the hound could recognize her, he definitely knew. He said nothing to keep his plans safe, which we got to see in the later seasons.
He didn't give her up because he probably admired how she not only escaped, but ended up being Tywins cup bearer. If he ratted her out there and then, what benefit is that to him? He gains nothing. But if he keeps it tucked away in his pocket for later use, then its the smart play.
Isn’t it so awesome how scenes like this went literally nowhere?
Man, I loved watching great scenes setup great possibilities for no payoffs, Truly masterful tv.
2.05 "Baelish..." 3.52 "More whine for Lord Baelish" lol
4:26 Baelish be like 'she didn't fill my cup.'
More like: ''For this, I will make you shit in your pants by referencing your momma''
The "She spilled it, but didn't fill it" look
Charles Dance’s screen presence was something else
It's just so funny how Littlefinger changes his accent in each season lmao
God do I miss this Littlefinger. Cunning, conniving, leering, creepy. After season 4, like with most characters, they ruined him
Tremendous actors all. Charles Dance is incredible.
"My cup-bearer can read better than you."
I think that's my favorite line in the entire show
The venom in his voice when he says it, he's absolutely disgusted by the stupidity around him.
Last night I rewatched this episode, and for the first time I think I really watched and concentrated in this scene. This has to be one of Tywin's best... and the atmosphere is electrifying. Such great actors.
All actors involved did a great job.
The blocking and the camera angles, how light and dark it is, the pacing of this scene...I remember watching this scene the first time and the tension! Just incredible.
You can tell Littlefinger knows it's her, but not that he'd say anything. He was probably laughing to himself about it.
He knew it was her which is why he brought up the Starks daughters
"Hey sir Tywin do you know who is this girl your cup bearer?"
"No"
"The daughter of the man you ordered killed"
Reading that hurt my head.
+Cheburashka207 Go fuck yourself.
Xavier Stormsurge
Sorry I don't do requests.
Cheburashka207 What you can do, however, is to improve your grammar. That would fantastic.
Cheburashka207 Oooooh. What a great comeback. My ass is quivering at the aggresion you have thrown upon me.
Nobody pays attention to servents. And that's their mistake! What you underestimate becomes your weakness!
“Maybe you should devise our last few seasons while you’re about it.”
Thanks for putting John at the beginning and end of the video...the scene wouldn´t have made any sense without him.
I love how she was playing The Game Of Faces with Tywynn before she even joined the cult.
I still wonder if littlefinger knew. He never acted as if he did, but then, information was valuable to him. He also knew to play the long game.
He knew. But he’s so crafty, he let it go, as he had nothing to gain from it and it could prove advantageous later.
Lol I love how at 1:45 area is happy and when little fingers name is announced her expression quickly changes to "oh Fuck!!!"
First time he called him bealish without any title , but when he told him a smart tactic to punish the traitors of his family he said more wine to Lord bealish, smart move to make people improve their sentences .
I cant believe this was 8 years ago. Where has my life gone
When you r out eating at a restaurant peacefully nd someone you knew from high school showed up
Right. "Ugh I'm not in the mood for this"
Thank you from all of us with working eyes that you turned up the BRIGHTNESS
There is more tension in this scene - a girl pouring wine- then all of season 8
Interesting very little people know that Little finger actually remembered her and said Sansa the same that he saw her sister alive ,,, in a scene at kingslanding when Ros and shae also talked,,,
"If you ever put my son's life in jeopardy again I'll..."
Brilliant how he cuts it off at "I'll", let's the person he's threatening think about what has done in the past, and how bad it could end up for them if they fuck up any more.
The fact that a chuckled whenever she grabbed the book says how much he really thought about her. He freaking loved her.Lol
