I'd like to see a Re-Edit of the show done in this style, with flashbacks and foreshadowing segueing the next scene or cut. You're a great editor, sir.

Am I the only person who thinks that Sansa is actually one of the dumbest characters in the whole series? One of the biggest plotholes from the DND seasons is how they pretend that she has any of the requisite skills, experience, or knowledge you'd need to be a leader. The show likes to rag on about Ned and Rob making bad decisions, but if actions still had consequences then Sansa bringing in the Vale for the BoB would have been just about the dumbest military/political decision in the asoiaf universe.

Says you, the strategic dimwit who cannot see that by bringing the Vale army to help the BoBs Sansa literally killed two birds with one stone - got Winterfell back and had revenge on her 'husband'. And, as it turned out, that move was an even more masterful stroke given she did end up the ruler of Winterfell after all, which is what she really wanted.

@@AA-yc8yr Strategy isn't about the end result, it's about how you get there. And how did she get there? By letting a guy, who got his army by murdering her family and also had previously betrayed her family which got them killed, bring an army larger than all of the north combined at the end of the battle.
Strategically, Sansa's whole plan lies on the assumption that this dude who's killed kings and betrayed her family, won't easily take Winterfell or kill her for being a loose end who could turn Robyn against him. Strategically, she decides that instead possibly having a siege with less casualties, to not tell Jon about the army which is less than a day away from them which might support them. Letting Jon plan out an entire battle where they're the underdogs, letting thousands (most) of the northern soldiers die, then letting a foreign army post up at Winterfell when it's in a severely weakened state. Her survival from these decisions is pure plot armour. Ned, Robb, and Jon all died for decisions way more understandable and strategically driven than that.
Sansa and the BoB is an example of complete incompetence being portrayed as if it was smart or even well thought out. Dumb writing, dumb story, and an even dumber audience to chew it all up.

The smartest character in the game of thrones is The Three Eyed Raven. In the show he said he'd been sitting in that tree for a thousand years. Only to become King of the humans by taking over Brans body. He'd been at war with the humans since the first men. When Tyrion asked The Three Eyed Raven (thinking it was bran) "will you wear the crown?" The Three Eyed Raven replies "Why do you think i came all this way?" Which tells us he knew and planned this outcome from the very beginning. Tyrion then tells everyone that "All future kings/queens shall be chosen and not born."
He planned it so well that any new king/queen will be (chosen) not born with birth right. It's perfect for when the Three Eyed Raven decides to possess another body which will again be chosen to become king/queen.
He can never be back stabbed by anyone as he can see everything in the present and everything in history of everyone. He has the abilities to mind read and even mind control anything he wants. He will have only the most loyal to guard him. Also presuming he finds Drogon for his nuclear weapon just for the cherry on top. All hail The Three Eyed Raven forever king of the 6 kingdoms.

He literally was the smartest. Bran only caught him because he cheated.
