We are always our own harshest critics. Of course it's your truth and of course say it was terrible all you want but a lot of us really like the raw nature of your coming out video. Again thanks to the TH-cam algorithm for always bringing good coming out stories that have been buried on TH-cam to the Forefront during pride month and National Coming Out day. I'm writing this on June 6th 2024 and I've never seen either of your videos before. Like many other people are commenting I'd love to see how your time in the Air Force went and where life has led you to this day. Thanks for these Dustin.
Buddy, I'm impressed with your story. I'd like to know how your Air Force career is going. It'd be great to see another video by you. Peace brother. James
This kid should really post more videos, he comes across so well, just a down to earth no bullshit kind of guy. If ur reading this, hats off to you, can't have been easy telling ur friends and family. But the closet is no way to live, you are going to have an amazing life now : )
Dustin, you're coming out video was awesome, now worries. Totally engaging (even if the family situation is a bit confusing without that deleted video - lol) Be sure to tell us how coming out to your parents goes.
Hey...still great videos so.many years later...just hoping that you will catch us up on your life...you seem really cool and would like to know how you are. Take care.
You need no criticism! You spoke from the heart. You helped a lot of people maybe saved a life sadly many people consider suicide as they're alternative. Thanks for taking the time!
Hey Dustin, Great update video. I watched your previous video and I have to say it was very candid and honest. I've watched it a few times already. Thanks for keeping us posted on your coming-out process. I'm glad it is going very well for you. The very best of luck with the Air Force. I, myself, served in the Air Force, too. And I have no regrets serving my country. As one of your subscribers, please keep us updated. I'm sure it would mean a lot to many of us, your viewers. BTW: May I suggest checking out "Russ Marine 2014" and "Jesse Duke", if you haven't already? Their channels are awe- inspiring. It's worth taking a look. PEACE. :D
Did this sweet dude, ever do any other vids??? I've searched, with no success....although, he isn't the most artulicate guy around, he told a very, hartwarming and touching story...I watched his earlier vid....he is so lucky to have such caring and loving siblings.....he like so many other, LGBT, youth, grew up, feeling like a second class citizen.....I think, his brows and mates, put a lifelong, grin on his sweet face...not all kids are as lucky as him....
Your videos are genuine, truthful and honest. Information like this is sorely needed by our LGBT youth, and adults as well. When I was in school around 60 years ago ( FUCK! am I that old?) I had absolutely no support from anyone because there as none to be had. The word "gay" in those days was just a synonym for happy. No one knew. I didn't really act gay nor hang out with gay folks. I wanted to come out many times but was always fearful of doing it. So while I was in Europe on a business trip my mom asked my brother-in-law if he knew if I was gay. He just replied that he didn't know. Meanwhile we divorced and she got psysical custody also I still saw them. I won't blabber on with more details but coming out was the bravest thing I have ever done. I'm just sorry I didn't do it at your age instead of at 28.
as well as the first comment I just saw ur coming out story (which was great) and I was waiting and hoping to hear how u come out to your parents but ok... you could talk about stereotypes and the fact that you are not all pink flamboyant boy is really cool cause that what I'm looking most of the time
I don’t adhere to stereotypes in the way I dress and how hairy I am (I love wide brimmed bucket hats or small sun hats, and loose fitting and baggy pants), but I am still somewhere in the not fully straight category.
Ah, okay, just watched this second video and got my question answered. I was just thinking of how you remind me of my cousin, you kind of look and act similarly, and he was going to be a welder like his uncle but joined the Marines instead, and now I learn you're going to join the AF! Good luck in boot camp!
thank you for sharing your story and thank you for thanking the people who shared their story before you. You are helping the people who will come out after you, like others helped you - and that's a very nice thing to do. Who says gay people are all sinners? And who cares if you said like too much, I think it's, like, ok. Good for you young man!
21 from the UK, east London Was a welder/fabricator also, now a labourer or what you guys call construction worker i guess. in that kind of work it would be hard to come out or even get work over here and i'm not even going to try. i don't think i have a single friend that would accept it anyway. its the environment we live in and i understand, at one point i would have been as homophobic as they are (im not the stereotypical type just like yourself). YOUR A BETTER MAN THAN ME MATE good luck
That's weird. I just found your coming out video an hour ago and watched it and left a comment and now your update shows up in my subs list. Anyway, it's great to hear that things are still going good. Hope like the AF - I think you will. Did you ever watch AreYouSurprised's videos? One courageous airman there who has helped a lot of guys. You will too.
I wish this guy would make more videos I relate a lot. I’m in high school only have straight guy friends. And I wanna tell them just scared everything will change
Dustin: I agree with 69Ferg below - you SHOULD really post more videos. You are a down to earth no BS kind of guy. Have you come out to your parents yet? Come on back with another Vid soon! Best to you!
Keep us updated Dustin even if you get accepted into the service on whats happened . I can count on one hand a few guys your age who are in the service and are gay doing videos from all over the world and are on youtube . If ya ever need a list let me know . Take care man.
Damn Dustin you are a cutie.. but your probably too young for me. Dont know the date of this video or the first one i saw, but right now it is May 25, 2014 and I turn 38 June 4, 2014.. so see there my point is your too young and im way freaking old...lol have a good one and thank you for your future service to our country
I'll subcribe but more vids! Do a video explaining your type! Or what you find attractive in a guy... or a video on turn offs... or do the TMI tag... loads of ideas lol
Hey Dustin, you should check out Jesse Duke's channel. He has a very similar story and experience to yours and he's a welder too! What are the chances? LOL! Also Shep689 (Will and RJ) are my favourite vloggers (they're a couple) I think you'd like them. Hope you're doing well!! Cheers!

What's been up, man? You planning another vid sometime?

I wonder what happen to him ? Does anyone know his twitter or Instagram
If some one say's being gay is a choice. Just say to them, " so when did you chose to be straight?" Shuts them up lol
Why are you afraid to tell your parents ? Do you want to have to be worried about that during boot camp ?
man i just cant say it
That one thumbs down lol.
I also want your view of being gay in the military. Don't be a stranger.
Thank you so much man! Good luck with everything! You are amazing.
