I've been looking at boat reviews for two weeks and this guy did the best review I've seen. Doesn't sound like he's reading a script, just a easy going explanation of everything. Didn't sound like a salesman. Liked it.
Yes he did a pretty good job and check out some others: Yachts For Sale....................David Seals Aquaholic.............................Nick Burnham Super Yacht Captain............Capt. Tristan Mortlock Calibre Yachts......................Very own Richard Evans Denison Yachts, ESysman, Jared Watney to name a few.
Both this salesman and Richard are OUTSTANDING...while I'm not that impressed by the GB47EU (disliked that split 2nd stateroom, lack of a full sized reefer, and galley infringement into 'wheelhouse' area), Calibre is by-far, one of the most professional companies out there...and the COMMON SENSE WALK THRUs should be industry standard! You guys make EXCELLENT videos!!! Thumbs up!
I like this boat, but paying for a 47 and getting the space of a smaller boat is no bargain in my book. The design team for the 2007 model were making assumptions that possibly led to the early sale of a seldom-used boat: inefficient utilization of interior space; overhead tender storage means too much work to use it and return to storage; access to flybridge is difficult for aging owner/operators; the cockpit struts supporting the overhead limits that area for fishing, thus limiting the market, and the emphasis on woodwork beauty rather than usability also means it will be attractive to a smaller segment of the market. Overall there will be many potential buyers who will appreciate the beauty but pass it by because there are many more usable boats in this price range.
Now I think this is a Great Video, love the way the Chap explains things, OK, he aint dressed like a used car sales geezer but I tell you one thing. Friend who is in the Market for the very same Model, same year etc . Hs just put in an offer for one. Nice vid Calibre yachts, nice Guy presenting. Obviously a Local too by His accent!!
Don't really like the idea of outside access to the engine room. If you have a clogged filter in a following sea, you're pretty much screwed. On the other hand, this boat may have been designed to cruise inland waterways, not blue water.
I like the way this man looks. He look honest and not snobbish, even if his customers are rich folks. But I am a scandinavian, we're not so snobbish around here (thought it's getting worse even here....).
Production quality poor the music made me turn it off there is a reason there are professional production people ...If you are professional sales org why would you use some guy with a camera
Sorry to hear our videos are not to your liking. It’s the first such report that we have received from the public. Most other response have been very complimentary Two points we should make here. Our producer is a highly respected professional who has done numerous shoots for multi-national companies that you will be sure to recognize. And two, every film that he has produced save one has contributed to the quick and successful sale of the vessel. But everyone has their own view of how they see things and we respect and thank you for yours.
This vessel has been sold! For a list of our current inventory, please visit us at www.calibreyachts.com

Probasbly the most tasteful boat I've seen on various channels. She seems to pierce the bow wave very well too. Lovely vessel.
I love Grand Banks, such an attractive boat.
I went for a 6 day cruise on a GB 42 years ago. Been my favourite boat ever since. This 47 is a beaut!!
Note to cameraman, when salesman says " look how deep this sink is" ........show sink depth...she's a beauty by the way

Thank you for the testimonial! We do strive to do our best. We just uploaded the GB42!
Calibre Yacht Sales how much for both this boat and the 42’
I've always loved Grand Banks for numerous reasons but, my only complaint is not enough refrigeration for extended cruising.
They don’t get much better than a Grand Banks, not cheap as it were but always well thought out.
Beautiful boat, ONLY issue I had was that the 2nd cabin was limited to 2 twin layout which would not be optimal for a 2nd couple.
Really nice..... great presentation too!
Beautiful well designed boat. Big thumbs up!

Could it do an Atlantic crossing, what's the range, how much fuel does it hold and how much fresh water?
Very nice boat, I thought the video was well done, the aerial shots were smooth and interesting,

beautiful boat

Nice boat....
The owner should have kept those original fabrics stowed away lol.

I have an extra hair brush , you're welcome to it.
...just give the guy a fiver and send him to the local barber college, the trainees will fix him right up.
Didn’t I see where this boat has sold?? Why is it still listed??
What country makes this brand?
DogisRain Co. Used to be Singapore. Not sure if it still is though.

Cat ACERTs are maintenance headaches.....they are the reason Cat is no longer in the marine/truck business

😄😄
Note to self: When selling an expensive yacht, come my hair.
Note to self. Check spelling before posting. Comb, not come. Or did you really want to go to his hair?
Ben Stiller did that in his hair in Something About Mary. One of the funniest scenes.
H
Ugh, not even 30 seconds in and thought vid was being hosted by a homeless man. Comb your hair sir! Didn’t watch. Disliked

Show me a boater with neatly combed hair and I will show you a land lubber 😂
You've never been out on the water. Part of the reason is to get your hair messed up, let your hair down, as it were.
