Mostly this is a boat I would buy the layout and architecture is excellent but the galley and everything else is just above Walmart grade stuff. The best thing about boat aside the low grade equipment essentials is it does not resemble a tacky Lawyers office interior. It's kind of Homey not Homely. A few upgrades like get rid of that happy the clown Dingy system that adds drag too the boat and the galley appliance improvements you are good to go. I did not get to the engines yet it's my bed time. I hope they ain't some Deere crap or shit ya gotta go thru hell and high water to get parts and service plus pay big bucks for shit service and run around crap. I would actually like to go look at this boat I like it that much. Nice boat and floor plan.
Thank you so much for your comment Linda groundwater. We always put the link for spec very last of the description. If you don't see it, its more likely the vessel is sold therefore spec page is no longer available. Please contact us if you wish to have specs on this particular boat, otherwise we are sure quick Google search will get you spec of 2000 Carver 50! Cheers,
Since the boat doesn't have an engine room, I wonder what makes it go through the water? Oars? Pedal power? A side wheel arrangement? Tow it with the tender?
Really? A 50' motor yacht with an engine room you have to drop down through a hatch in the overhead to access? It doesn't have a proper door on one end of the engine room you walk through? And it's covered by heavy-to-move furniture you have to relocate every morning to get to the engines and do maintenance and safety checks and so forth. Really? Maybe you're looking at the emergency escape hatch. Maybe access to the engine room is through the steps leading down into the forward stateroom. (They hinge upward....?) Just a random guess on my part...
Yeah, would have been nice to at least hear about the most important items, mechanical/hours. Saw a Volvo Penta tag. Made me say, really? Gas powered 50footer? But lt is beautiful.
Confused. You showed the vip suite, and while in the vip suite said the master cabin has an ensuite. Then you walked downstairs to the master cabin. Just a mishap I guess. Nice presentation. Thanks.
Yes I did. Don't think the owners were into tv, at least not at sea. The master cabin had a blank space where a TV could be put. But they went without. Obviously very sensible people.
Sorry Richard, this boat is sold. Please do take a look at our website for all active listings, as these change daily, especially in the current climate www.calibreyachts.com
You can tell this is an old video, the details are all slightly off, not as much attention paid as more modern videos (ie. miss counting draws, and general less detail), also the filming work has much improved in the more modern videos, the camera work on this boat was very poor, often not showing what he was talking about, no decent 360 of the rooms, and as people have said, no engine room. Glad things have vastly improved.
Sucks that the boat has no engine. You just wish about the propulsion details? Maybe there is a fuel tank of whatever size. Or maybe has a fresh water tank? Terrible info.
And if your not using the bathroom, you just close the doors and it's out of the way. And when you wake up, you can step out into the cockpit and greet the day. And after greeting the day, step back inside and enjoy this space. I want to pull my hair out.
This vessel has been sold! For a list of our current inventory, please visit us at www.calibreyachts.com
I know I am pretty randomly asking but does anyone know a good site to stream newly released movies online ?
@Kristian Silas Try Flixzone. You can find it by googling :)
@Kristian Silas i would suggest flixzone. Just google for it =)
My favorite boat for a live aboard. That cockpit access from master is what locks me in. Great place for a m coffee or p m cocktails
Love this guy but I know he was pissed when there was no wood to talk about.
Hes funny. "Just look at that wood, isnt it gorgeous?"
There was wood. Lol but no cherry wood.
No wood, heh!
Can you say "WOOD"? I like it when you say that,,,

Really love the little bug climbing up the dining chair, ha, ha! Love these boat/yacht videos.
I want to buy a boat from Richard, but more importantly I want to share some drinks with him and talk boats.
Please ALWAYS show the engine room.

Mr. Rodgers of yacht sales!
Very chilled almost asleep
Since the boat doesn't have an engine room, I wonder what makes it go through the water? Oars? Pedal power? A side wheel arrangement? Tow it with the tender?
It does have an engine room through a hatch in the saloon, its just a pain trying to move the furniture out of the way to get to the hatch.

Quantum thought drive.
Think it and your there. Then use the bow and stern thrusters to finish the maneuver.
This boat is beautiful.
I wonder why the boat is rocking so much in calm water?
From watching his videos he sure likes to sit and enjoy a glass of wine.. I'm more a beer or booze guy lol
What a lovely boat. What did that sell for ?
I'd like to know if the helm hard top can be added after manufacture or if the boat has to be ordered with that option prior to construction.
Confused. You showed the vip suite, and while in the vip suite said the master cabin has an ensuite. Then you walked downstairs to the master cabin. Just a mishap I guess. Nice presentation. Thanks.
Nice boat

ENGINE ROOM = SUPER IMPORTANT. FYI.
I can easily deploy my dingy as well
1:19 Nice, but my Father's still going to have difficulties with his Zimmer.
I would love to have this one for sure
I had a partnership half owner on one of these.
I want to own a boat like this.
I wonder what the price of the boat is like.
Boat specifications, engine specifications, please let me know.
This is obviously not an ocean going vessel!!
I may get this boat...
For a boat nearly 20 years old I wonder how much it will cost
This vessel has sold!
The most people I would have on board at the most would be three.
didn't show engine access
Nice, |I like it!
Thank you very much!
Did you spot the CRT Tv ?
Yes I did. Don't think the owners were into tv, at least not at sea. The master cabin had a blank space where a TV could be put. But they went without.

How much is it....n is it already sold?

I guess the engine room sucks ?!
Moe Jaime there’s no wood down there, so it doesn’t count.
@@ianshaliczer It's probably the opposite - the engine runs on wood :D

It's a bit of an _ugly duckling_ floating Pope-mobile from the outside, but with a fabulous interior.
Too much white fiberglass. George Verhagen would be ticked off. I worked for him for a while in the late 70s.

BEWARE of 2000 Carvers. Do your homework.
Really outdated especially the technology side of the boat. And where is the engine room? That small and that shitty that you can't show it? Sad!
