@@freedoomer2524 it's a common enough issue in game development, you make a mistake at the start but so much shit is based on it that you just kinda let it stay to prioritize other things just pay attention to the hands and you can see they jiggle the guns to slide the casings out

I noticed it on the Berthier you can pause and see the case appear nowhere near where it’s supposed to come out. Other than that the animations are great, surprised they didn’t give the ejection the same realism

Fun fact: dual pistols has a trick where if you hold down your left mouse, you would shoot only one of your pistols till its out then click and hold again to do the same till its empty. This works for scottfield, nagant, conversion, pax, and LeMatt. It doesnt work with officer, bornheim, new army, and dolch (Any weapon that is not semi automatic). depends on the guns too you have to blast you entire cylinder to go deaf with the nagants but the nitro rifle gives you tinnitus with like every shot, especially indoors
@@arthurmorgan2679aside from the Martini-Henry’s magazine variant, the M1897 and the M1887, most of the closed-bolt guns with magazines, like the Krag, Karabiner, Winfield, and maybe the Spectre don’t have the player chambering a round first before they load the rest in. They load it all in and then chamber a round from the magazine. Putting a round in the chamber first makes it so that the user can fire at anytime while they’re loading the gun, incase an emergency occurs. So I’m curious as to whether it was unintentional by the developers, or that they kept it like that to fit with the setting of the game.

Its mainly so the 1st round doesnt take too long to reload therefore continually loading rounds without delay. And what arthurmorgan said. You can manually do it if you need to, reload-cancel-char rechamber-reload again.

For all the details and smooth animations and gritty gun sounds, Hunt Showdown's Devs never acknowledge the extractor rods on the revolvers.
They do, on some. Only a few.
they have stated that they dont use extractors on revolvers due to how they have them setup for animations

It's interesting to think that you're playing a game where the most technologically advanced firearms are standard issue in WW1.
Literally the only weapons here that were standard issue in WW1 are the Mauser C96, Lebel 1886, and the Mosin Nagant.
