My late father and I were in the infield at this race. I remember climbing through a hole in the fence after the race to celebrate with Schrader with my #25 Kodiak gear on. Best day ever. Little did I know this would be his last Cup victory ☹️
No matter what he drove I enjoyed watching Kenny race. He almost won more with Hendrick but something would always happen to him with a few laps to go in those events. Regardless of what he did or didn't win he will always be known for being involved in the crash with Dale Earnhardt in Daytona 2001.
Shockingly, Kenny Schrader's last win. Sad that he couldn't win a few more..I know he had some more wins in him. He just needed the luck, kinda like Ryan Blaney now.
3:38 = Ken Schrader = Nice Guy, Very Capable driver, drove in NASCAR forever, the big problem is he was in Tim Richmond's Shadow. He could drive the car well and get it home in the top 20 most of the time.. If his luck held out that is...
Although I like jimmie johnson, adam petty, and max angelelli, kenny schrader is still my favorite driver. Even though he has less wins for hendrick motorsports.
more like top 5, top 10 most of the time... either that or something went bad, should of won more, he had some of the worst luck. still would consistently finish in top 5 or top 10 in points up till late the '90s
Actually, I do (sort of). From what I've read, ABC packed up and left on Sunday (after the race was red-flagged for rain) and didn't come back to televise the rest of the race when it resumed on Monday. Therefore, the only known footage from the race is the first 50+ laps that were run on Sunday (which I have). I have 60 other races already in line to be published, so it'll be a little while before I get to the Motorcraft 500, but eventually, I *will* lol

Thought it was Bristol for a second when he said that, then I saw the speed and was like "this is Dover". I think the Bristol night race was named the "Bud 500" for a few years back in the late 80s, early 90s.

When Glenn said "Jarrett's have a bad temper," I'm sure he was just talking about him and Dale. Because Ned was known for his calm demeanor.
gentlemen Ned for a reason
I thought that was sarcastic. Dale Jarrett is a nice guy. 🤷🏽♂️ maybe their teenage years?
@@JRsBullet it's amazing how much a little white ball can aggravate the nicest people.
I remember this race . My reason I started watching NASCAR was Michael Waltrip, I was only 14yrs old. Love Michael Waltrip and still to this day 💗💋
Ken Schrader's fourth and final Winston Cup victory. He would finish 9th in the points for 1991, with 2 wins, 10 top 5s and 18 top 10s.
Too bad Schrader didn't win more but he is still is a sentimental favorite.

Although I like Jimmie Johnson, Max Angelelli, and Adam Petty a lot, I like Kenny Schrader a lot.
On the pole that day but it took poor old Michael Waltrip ten more years to get a win. Unfortunately on that terrible day February 18th, 2001.
@smiff tv thanks for posting
"a cold Budweiser would be fine..."
😂😂😁

He shoukd of won a few more, but Schrader had some of the worst luck I've ever seen a driver have
Thank you!
good victory for Ken Schrader same even if it was his last victory in winston cup !
Damn, Buddy Baker could have been a defensive lineman!
God damn Mike Joy, that’s some LEGO hair! 😆
Yes in Deedy ,Thanks GUYS for ALWAYS THE MOST EXCELLENT RACING EVER..GOD BLESS YOU ALL
Dale Jarrett also crashed hard again in the other Dover race that year. Only that time he wasn't alone.....
I believe this is the first race where the Junuior Johnson cars had to change numbers and forced to run under his wife's name because he was suspended
Nope, the first race was the previous one, the Coca Cola 600 at Charlotte.
This would be Schrader’s final Cup win.
Rick Hendrick gave up on Schrader. He could have won more if he stayed but he is still a legend.
Hard to believe. Hard to understand
should of won more, he had some of the worst luck

He came up the same way as Tim Richmond. Ken Schrader just didn't have any luck

8:11..richard was a very lucky man in that crash..ken ragan hit the same way at Daytona and bout snapped his damn head off his shoulders..
Glenn Jarrett always played second fiddle and didn’t really get a break. I think I understand the reason why but he still got screwed.
Damn, I didn't know the age gap between Michael and Darryl was so large!
The talent gap too 🤣
When are you going to re-upload the both 1992 Dover races SMIFF TV?
. Just go to my videos and search 1992 , you'll find the Peak 500. Can't find my copy of the Budweiser 500 at the moment
@@SMIFFTV K, Thanks!!
O, One more thing; will you ever make specific year playlists like the entire 1992 Nascar Season?
LFG KENNY 💪
Only one more race to complete the 1991 season and thats the motorcraft 500 do you have it?

My thoughts exactly lol
So with those races that youll be publishing are some of them gunna be winston cup races that arent already on youtube
Oh hell yes, several. No spoilers here, though. You'll just have to wait and see...lol

Wish Dover would switch back to asphalt.
2:56:13 And there's your caution, Richard!
1st career start for Bobby Labonte
I used to say there's racers and ryders. Kenny is a racer. Hard to believe he didn't win alot more races than he did while at Hendrick.
He should of won a few more, but Schrader had some of the worst luck I've ever seen any driver have
I'd love to see Dover go back to asphalt
DW? He can explain all what is the fans want to here.
3:42:36 = Harry Gant = Races cars on Sunday put's up Roof's on Monday!!
@0:35 15 seconds? 😲
