Just faced off an opponent in Hearthstone. Rank 20. He had a Summoning Portal and that gnome that reduces minion cost by 1, and he played Jaraxxus on turn 6. I was able to Nourish on turn 5 to gain 2 mana crystals, hero ability his 2/1 Zombie Chow, and gain 8 mana the next turn. He then played I think it was Azure Drake, Undertaker, Infernal (the Jaraxxus hero ability) and like 3 other cards, because of the 3 mana discount, I think those 3 cards had deathrattle too, so Undertaker was super buffed. I'm sure he had lethal next turn if he could insta-kill my 8/8 Ironbark. Fortunately for me, I had Mark of the Wild, (10/10 Ironbark) Savage Roar (12/10 Ironbark +3 damage on my hero with the hero ability) = 15 damage. Yay me!

as it turns out, trump actually made a better play than you proposed, since he was able to retain one of the 2 +1/+1 buffs from the defender of argus on his board after the trading. PS don't sit there belittling him because he didn't make the play you thought of Luke, its easy in hindsight when you aren't streaming and have all the time in the world. no I don't care how quickly you came up with that answer, but there's no reason to say that "most people" are better or that "Trump... hasn't been seeing the best of plays" like, he is definitely making good plays and constantly talking out his thought process cut him some slack

James Regli having a turn 4 8/8 does mean that you will have 3 turns tapping, and u can get easily rushed down if u have no good answers. on the other hand, zoo and hunter can just play undertaker and let it snowball out of control if it doesn't get killed, silenced early which is usually the case. handlock isn't even that P2W, control warrior is probably it.
I don't think you know what pay to win means. You're complaining about a deck with 2 legendaries in it as "pay to win" even though control warrior usually has 4-7 legendaries in it. Also, it doesn't take much to kill a turn 4 giant. Shield slam, execute, BGH, hunter's mark, hex, polymorph, naturalize (lol), shadow word: death, or even running shit tons of weenies into it if you're an aggro deck. TLDR: You have a lot of learning to do, my friend.
you realize that most classes only have two answers to a giant in there deck outside of A. ramming all of your guys into him or B. playing a deck like control paladin or warrior where all you run is answers. seriously turn four onward is just 4/10 drakes, 8/8 giants, taunt triggers, and massive removal of all the opponents creatures turn five by sacking your 8/8 for 4 mana, and that is the bad play. and i am sorry, but 4 epics that you don't use for any other deck and many other lengendaries that are often sided in for match-ups is beyond my price range while the legendaries necessary for other decks are used in plenty of decks, plush they are not always needed for the deck to function, unlike handlock
Tbh with my experience in the current meta it's a mistake to taunt up when it's not necessary, black knight is in every control deck right now. Even in all of mine lol
@James Regli Nonsense, a hunter with a decent opening will leave you at half hp or less by then, 4 turn giant means doing nothing but tapping leaving you defenceless. There are many cheap answers to giants. If you tried to actually play this deck in an aggro ridden ladder you wouldn't talk bout free wins, it's a hard deck to play correctly.

No, probably not, 1. It makes molten's unplayable. 2. Earthen ring is used a lot of the time to heal minions, not the face. But who knows, maybe it will be played.

The thing you do is normally only play her on turn 4, when you have to clear the board with your circle of healing... Otherwise you can almost say soulrpiest is a 6 mana card since you can't use her and heal on the same turn... Don't play her on turn 4 when not needed.

A different way to put it, there are only 6* soulbound and 4 common cards in the deck. The rest are rare, epic or a legendary.

the secret mage "macetodaface" is a pro Smite player. many of them play HS in between smite games when they stream.
Random question but what happens if you give an Ancient Watcher the "Charge" Warrior spell, and if it wasn't previously silenced?
It still can't attack. The charge ability only removes the summoning sickness effect, but Ancient Watcher can't attack normally regardless.

another problem with it is that 4 mana is when you typically play things like the mountain giants and the twilight drakes.
