This is a cool effect with the white epoxy as waves, sea foam. I grew up using epoxy, and resin but we used it to build ribless cedar strip canoes with the West System Epoxy that Gil Gilpatrick wrote about. Never thought of making tables, lol.

If y’all go to Hawaii u guys definitely need to go to the black sand beach. I’ve been there a couple months back and it’s something I didn’t think would exist nor did I think was possible. I mean black sand? That’s a thing!!? Was what I said when I first found out about it during my Hawaii trip!

Definitely not, epoxy is expensive on its own. The sheer amount needed for this + all the primer needed to finish off this table would be insane. Theres a reason these things are so expensive. Time, effort, and a LOT of money goes into the construction. Under $100 is beyond an imaginable amount.

Maybe take a picture, take it to a print shop and get them to print it on a large piece of vinyl or something cheaper then glue it to your current table?

I struggle with these ‘sea’ effects. I make resin tables and when I say struggle I mean not doing them, but whether I think they look tacky or not? Still undecided.

Did you know that using a Phone, tablet, a pc or any kind that related products isn’t good for the environment?
Getting the materials to build certain components causes a lot of damage to the world.
