So happy to see this full interview! Love Matt, so I was intrigued to watch Fellow Travelers. What an informative, beautiful, heartbreaking show. What wonderful, heart wrenching performances from Matt and Jonathan. I enjoyed every second of it and I enjoyed hearing about their journeys here and their love for their work 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
I have now watched Fellow Travelers start to finish four times. Each time I learn something new. This forbidden love story is so compelling and authentic I can't put it into words. It is great to listen to Matt and Jonathan discuss their complex characters. Also, as the mother of an adult gay son I appreciated their remembrances of life for them in high school; it gets better:) Thank you for two heartbreaking performances.
this show was all of the emotions. it was heartwarming and heart breaking as well. This show encouraged and devastated me. I think it’s one of the best pieces of cinematography I have ever seen. It’s a beautiful and sad piece of art.
That show was amazing! From beginning to end. The story line. The dimensions. The character development. The actors. The emotions. The scenery. The editing. I just fell in love with this series.
Great interview, thanks for posting! Both of them are so gifted, humble and articulate; the different ways they talk about acting in particular is really fascinating. Individually and together they give incredible performances in Fellow Travelers, which along with director/writer Andrew Haigh's film All Of Us Strangers has been the highlight of this past year. A terrific achievement by creator/adaptor/showrunner Ron Nyswaner and everyone involved in the show.
To be honest as hetero woman I cried out myself for their love and especially for Skippy. I can´t get over it still. Skippy brought me to tears so many times, his loyalty to Hawk, his tenderness, pureness of heart, believing in love, his authenticity and boldness (which Hawk was missing even though he was ,the macho" in their ,,relationship") Skippy´s love towards Hawk was so epic that I find myself feeling angry many times for Hawk´s actions and his selfishness, we could say even manipulative nature. I could understand why Hawk behaves the way he does but he was constantly breaking Skippy´s heart who loved him beyond words and until the end of his life. He didn´t deserve to be Hawk´s second choice every single time meanwhile Skippy was through good and bad always there for him (as we could see even when his own wife and family gave up on him Skippy was again there, the only one to stand by him and to help him), forgiving, giving chances, loving him selflessly and deeply. Matt Bomer´s and Jonathan Bailey´s chemistry was sooo palpable and their perfomances were pure Masterpiece!! Jonathan´s acting talent is just surreal in each and every role he plays, he´s like Leonardo Dicaprio of his generation!
This show is a journey that is taken by every way of life. So real and complex at the same time! A life that unfortunately I understood all to well! Bravo!
Thank you. Sending you love and hugs❤. I’m going to subscribe any fellow travelers Q&A interviews old and upcoming ones ….as Emmy FYC will start I hope you upload in this picture
Given FT's storyline, there was no way to include the fact that Roy Cohn was the #1 mentor to the young Donald Trump -- but he was. I feel that Cohn's personality had a lot to do with shaping Trump's horribleness. Someday, I hope that THAT story will be told.
It's so sad hearing about Jonathan Bailey being outed when he was young. In several interviews, Jonathan mentioned that he knew he was gay since he was 11. He also said he quit ballet when he was younger because he was afraid it would reveal that he was gay. Although Jonathan realized his sexual orientation at 11, there was no one around him who was gay, and the media only portrayed being gay in a negative way. He didn't have anyone telling him that it was okay to be gay, which is why it took him longer to find the confidence to come out. Jonathan came out to his family and friends in his early 20s, and it's heartbreaking to think about the tough time he went through, even though he knew his sexual orientation from a young age. In another interview where he talked about heartstopper, he also mentioned how, as a gay teenager, he experienced falling in love, but he didn't have the words or the courage to express it. 😢😢 “Many! But the main one was the excitement, which takes me back to that joy, emotion, and magic of falling in love as a gay teenager. A special and scary time when I didn’t have the words or the courage to express what I was feeling.”
What a treat to be able to see this! I absolutely love watching Matt & Jonathan being interviewed together. Their chemistry is fabulous! 😊
Thank you for sharing the full interview! I could watch these two for hours on end. Such interesting men and such a phenomenal show.

Thanks for uploading. I didn't watch it completely ❤ now i can do it
How perfectly this show is loved by people, that we can't even compliment this series without saying their names together.
Great Interview!! Love Fellow Travelers!!!!❤❤
I adored fellow travelers i wish there was more
Jonny's voice is ASMR on steroids. Could listen to him read the tax code and it would soothe me. 😂

the nicknaming childish BS all came from Cohn. Trump was his protege
there is a scene where Cohn is coming up with nicknames for the guys he was conspiring against in the army. Sent chills....
Johnny is such a good actor ❤❤❤
Master piece, all Emys and Golden Globes for them I am sure
AHHHH!!! wish i have beautiful hair like them
30:10 the Benadryl story

Thanks for this! Is there a link to the official website where this is hosted, hoping to get one without the subtitles…
It's on SiriusXM redio I believe, I don't have access, it's American. So try to search there
@@fellowtravelermb Ah I see. Well, I'm in Australia so that won't work for me either sadly! At least we have this I guess.

Why'd JB say chat like that in 29:05 ?
It's like a *wink wink* typa thing too T^T
How utterly clueless for the host to have said the end is shattering.
No puedo entender que hombres como estos estén en televisión y cine pero mucho hilo en el carreteras no van a tener
