When I heard Ian was headed your way I sent lots of energy to y’all (critters & humans) . Be careful moving the palm litter. Rattlers, copperheads and water moccasins will love them for sheltering. Grapes and Peas to you (that is grace and peace). I would love nothing more than to help with clean up but I live in Tucson.

I'm in the Tampa area which is where the storm was originally projected to hit. All we ended up getting was a little bit of wind. I lived in Fort Myers for a couple years and have friends down there. It's bad. Worse than Charlie I think. They are going to need a lot of help and support to recover. My heart goes out to them.💔

Honestly I'm in Maryland I didn't have much doubt he would be safe but I was concerned for his outdoor reptiles the ones that are in the snake house I'm sure they would be fine but any of the animals who are outside in the thick of it I was concerned for
The whole state of FL was affected 1 way or another by the hurricane cuz and it was so big & slow moving. It hit the West Coast so Chandler, Tyler, Stone & alot of other people weren't directly hit. They still had alot of work to do because of the outer bands which still brought alot of wind & rain.

First time I’ve ever seen crocs in a hurricane, for how chill they seem during it one could presume they appreciate the chaos for hunting opportunities especially stalking through the debris in the water.

So happy Ian didn't hit you head on. My sister lives in Port Charlotte and they got like 6 feet of water and didn't evacuate, they had to climb shelves to stay out if the water. They lost almost everything, but recovering and rebuilding now. That was a crazy hurricane. I'm so sad for Fort Myers. I hope Miss Toothy didn't have too much ptsd. Poor girl has been through it! I'm so happy to hear that everyone is alright. My grandparents had a place in Fort Myers and I'm still in shock looking at the pictures. My grandma passed away a few years ago. And I have a bunch of memories being with her in Fort Myers. So, it's extra sad seeing what happened.

People were shitting their pants and we only got the tale end of those. Thoughts and prayers for the ones who got the full force of it!
