To be fair, I've seen people cheat on every class so far except for medic. There are also some heavies that have really crazy tracking skills and then heavies with aimbot assisting them.
i have a theory that since there are so few heavy mains/good heavy players in general, most casual players don't know how to counter them when they end up in a match against one and think they're cheating i main heavy and i've been accused of hacking far more often since i've started putting more time into him, and obviously fatmagic gets accused of hacking a lot since he's extremely good at the game but it mostly happens to him when he's playing sniper or heavy

It reminds me of those spies who hide in one of the spy spots at the start of Badwater (between the rocks at spawn doors, at the base of the left staircase, to the left of the entrance to the tunnel, etc.) and then think you're cheating because you're shooting at the place where *every* spy hides and there are three spies running around.
The real funny thing is how most of the accusations come from his own team, instead of the enemy team. I would have thought people would jump at the chance to have a teammate that played almost as well as a bot.

@@sn0ipe333 i played my first 1k hours of tf2 as a "f2p" (which is a wrong term, since we all play for free, we only pay for hats and such with micro-transactions) with nothing but a gibus and stock sniper gun. after 100hours, when i git gud enough to be usefull for my team, ppl started to call me cheaters because i were able to headshot them when they were moving in a straight line. Just because someone doesn't have hats worth like a ferrari, it not means that they are bad at the game, or cheating. It's a free game, if someone does not want to pay for cosmetics, or mvm ticket or competitive matchmaking, it's their own choice and cannot be blamed for.

Something I've noticed on Uncletopia servers is a lot of people take the game WAY too seriously and get super salty when they lose. It's where pseudo-competitive TF2 (doing literally everything to try and win) loses its luster to me, and I'd happily be playing on Casual if it wasn't for... you know.
I remember randomly joining some community server a few months back and it was one of those tightly knit communities So they didn't expect someone like me to show up as heavy and clean shop, die instantly and repeat for the whole round (my steam name was honda civic so reading people say "omg honda civic is cracked" was extra funny)

rage heavy is someone who switches to heavy when he is getting owned. it used to be just 'a thing' but now it is a reference to a STAR_ video. Calling rage heavy is meant to imply that you aren't good enough at the game to defeat the other player with skill, you relied on high hp and an automatic weapon instead. It's a bit silly since heavy requires the enemy to be out of position, or to be seriously outplayed by you getting close to them (say, behind them) unnoticed. ofc anything, even a slow class like heavy, is good against bad players.

Heavy thrives on a lack of awareness and good positioning, but he's not at all hard to counter or deal with. And that's not even mentioning sniper/spy.
