- Everton head to the King Power Stadium to play Leicester City still looking for their first win of the season. This is on the back of a dismal Carabao Cup exit to Southampton and four straight league defeats.
Sean Dyche faces somewhat of a selection headache with the Blues squad still feeling the impact of illness and injuries.
Joining Ian Croll in the Royal Blue studio is Everton Reporter, Chris Beesley and Royal Blue contributor Gav Buckland as they discuss the latest news coming out of Goodison Park.

Spot on again there lads really good podcast covering everything Everton
Giulia Bould did not get a credit as the BBC is an entity, but she is the journalist asking Thelwell questions.
I really like this show, I watch every episode, but to be honest, it gets a bit irritating when the only person who actually questions the club is Ian. You can tell his frustration with the manager, and I'm totally on board with him. The rest of the guys seem to be guarded with their views, maybe because they don't want to upset the club. It's the same when I watch Dyche's pre match press conference, the journalists are all terrified of upsetting him. 👍

well in for the podcast as always lads, enjoyed it. also, it was interesting to hear gav's taekaway from the thelwell inteview re: the division of responsibilities between thelwell and dyche. personally, i didn't take it as thelwell distancing himself from what happens on the pitch, but rather respecting that the pitch as the domain of the head coach. because, think about it, if thelwell says "my responsibility is to do everything i can to support the head coach" then, as a matter of subsequence, if on-pitch performances are bad then it could well be that thelwell has failed in his support role to one degree or another. thelwell could've worded his position a bit more clearly, but as i said, simply put, i got the impression thelwell just didn't want to step on dyche's toes.
Cheers MS thanks for the kind words. Yes you're probably right, just me interpreting it differently and putting into the context of Moyes' point about where responsibility lies between DoF and the manager. Thanks for listening.
@@Gavb66 well in gav! thanks for the reply.
Okay Moyes did a good job with Everton, but he won nothing. 11 years of not winning a trophy as an Everton manager is appalling. I’d like to remind you who we are and what we are all about. We finished above Liverpool, is this all we are?
Well said, I agree. They try and convince us to finish top 10 or 4th is good. It is obviously but it's not success, it's a platform to build on and progress, but we have gone backwards for yrs 😢
So he managed on avery limited budget, continually had to sell his best players. 1st manager to break the big fours strong hold oCL. A cup final that he had some his best players missing. Took over a team about to be relegated. We used to be the millionaires club. We not anymore. You a dose of reality. Just look at the string of managers since. Any of them get close. You need a dose of reality.
What's all this talk of positive recruitment? We have a couple of bodies more in but surely `positive' should mean improvement?
Where is the improvement? It's a massive question mark.
Tim has long term promise but he is not a patch on the sold Onana and needs tonnes of work on the defensive/IQ side of the game (we are getting ripped apart through the middle). We desperately need Mangala to prove his worth to us.
O'brien looks slow and can't get a game ahead of the worst premier league centre half of the last 7 years!
N'daiye has shown promise in 1 game but failed in a weaker league last season, as did the lightweight Lindstrom (who Conte got rid of in 30 seconds).
The real damage was done last summer with the abysmal sourcing of Beto for proper money. On that basis alone I would have Thelwell/recruitment team walking before Dyche.
Hard to know whose more useless at his job: Dyche or Thelwell. Another softball interview from the Liverpool Schmecho terrified of upsetting the club.
They both need sacking as there both shite one is a awful manager and the other signs duds
I won't list them all as there is to many of them.
