I am so glad you are expanding your horizons by picking up items other than glassware, although whiteware ironstone is still very popular on Etsy. So good choice on the milk pitcher. And, baskets are a favorite of mine. So, great haul!! Finally, if you don't know by now, I am a crazy cat lady, so I love seeing the furries as much as the haul. Thank you for including them :) Stay well.
Love the wicker letter (mail or whatever) holder. The St. Lawrence Seaway tray is interesting, too. The French legend, "La Voie Maritime du St. Lawrence", translates literally to: "The Sea Way of the St. Laurent", in essence, the French version of "The St. Lawrence Seaway". Very nice find for 99cents! The pitcher with the illegible impressed mark on the underside is a Pfaltzgraff stoneware pottery cream or milk pitcher from their highly popular Heritage White pattern. Another nice find for $1.99!
@@WorthingtonHome It's my pleasure. I have just a few* more years of shopping, collecting, antiquing and thrifting, and, as a native upstate New Yorker, the Seaway is part of the landscape along our northern border. Pfaltzgraff's Heritage White was the first full set of dinnerware I acquired in the early 1970s (*that gives you a clue of how long I've been at this...lol), and its popularity has endured ever since. I don't have my set any longer (sold it to a friend), but I always pick up the sugar bowl (with lid) and/or creamer when I come across them if well priced, because they invariably sell. You never know, perhaps we'll have a chance meet up to do a bit of thrifting together in CT or NY at some point! (You might want to visit Hudson, NY, for some antiquing and thrifting if you haven't been, and I have been meaning to get over to CT to see some of the shops I've heard about but haven't visited.) Also, I'm excited to hear about the possibility of adding a booth space to your business, if that comes together for you - I'd add that to my future road trip list of CT spots to visit for sure!
The little iron stone pitcher looks like Pfaltzgraff Heritage pattern, Chris. I have a huge collection of it, and sometimes the back stamp is indistinguishable.
I loved the video this morning while sitting on my lanai drinking espresso. I loved the new arrangement in the planter. Your finds were great but my favorite part is always seeing the cats, Licorice and Wilson. I think Iris should get a basket. It’s always such a pleasure to see your beautiful home.
Iris will appreciate you advocating for her to keep the basket! She had a rough day. She scratched the side of her face very badly and needed antibiotics and steroids. It was a loooooooong car ride to the vet!
What wonderful things you found! Its really all about being there at the right time. I especially love the "cat traps"....you caught two cuties right away😂. Thanks again for sharing your adventures and fur babies!
To add to the Moses basket. I'm pretty sure at the beginning of the movie The Ten Commandments, I believe a basket of this type (maybe covered) Moses was sent down the river in a woven basket. As a baby.
I'm currently in Menonomie Falls, WI, for a family wedding and stopped at a Goodwill while there looking for something my friend asked me to look for. I found myself walking down the decorative and dish section and hearing your voice while looking at a few things there. LOL!
Oh my gosh! That's either very funny or a little bit scary for you! 😂😂 If you picked up every piece of porcelain made in France, you'll know that I've taken over your brain! Thanks so much for making me laugh!
Too bad they don't have the save and recall option where they can suspend your order and resume it when you came back. My gw is usually very shorthanded.. Sorry she copped an attitude.stuff happens! It's not like you did it intentionally
Nope, she definitely wasn't! But in fairness to her, it was probably annoying to have rung up my purchases just to find out that I wasn't actually prepared to pay for them. Thank goodness I found it! I really panicked for a moment there.
I love the china dishes that you sell! After a nasty divorce, I am starting back over and I would like to buy some china, however I just read a disturbing article. It was written that the older china is high in lead content and should not be used for foods. If this is true, I"m very sad.😢
Vintage china is safe to use for food as long as it doesn’t have cracks or crazing. You should not store food on or in it, but perfectly safe to eat off. Vintage china can be very affordable and the patterns are so beautiful. I have several sets made in England and sets of Lenox made in the U.S. Almost all new china dinnerware is made in China and even though it may be the same pattern the quality is not the same. I love the older Wedgwood and Lenox patterns. I hope you find a beautiful set to enjoy.
I'm so sorry to hear about that nasty divorce - that sounds like no fun at all. There's definitely lots of beautiful and inexpensive china out there that doesn't have lead in it. If you get something that isn't truly antique, you'll likely be able to research it to make sure it's safe.
I believe that “bassinet” type basket is called a Moses basket
I think you're right! It was so unusual! (The cats will never let it leave the house!)
HEY kislux !! I have been watching you for years and im so proud of where you have made it! I love you so much! Also thanks for making my day

Thank you! It's been fun to try to train my eye to see new things. It's nice to talk to a fellow crazy cat lady! 😸😸
I absolutely loved all the baskets! I have baskets in every room of my house.
They're so charming - and useful!
The wood shelves are great! Love the ivy arrangement ❤
Thank you so much! ❤❤

You know so much! I wish you had been my thrifting buddy for the day! Thank you for the info!

That would make sense! It was such a pretty piece - it sold right away! I bet your collection is beautiful!
It could be a Mail holder😊
It would make a PERFECT mail holder!

I'm so glad you enjoyed my finds! I think they were Iris and Indy's favorite finds as well! ❤❤😸😸
The baby basket would be sweet to display an antique baby doll in. 😊😊😊
That would be so adorable! Even stuffed animals would be very cute in it. Awwww! Love it!
My mom bought one kislux and she loves it. It had been there for over 10 years when she went out with it.
It's a Moses Basket. Original portacrib. Great haul. TFS.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I appreciate the correct name for the basket - it should have occurred to me.
Wicker mail sorter hangs by the circle on the wall. My mom had one similar.
Thanks for letting me know! I imagine it would work really well for that purpose. I thought it was a cute little piece.

Yes, I think you're right! Nice job with your bible recollections! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
@@WorthingtonHome Thank you.
Wow, what a great haul..those baskets are so nice!!! Love ❤ baskets!!!
Thank you! They were such lucky finds!
Hi I just started watching you and I’m so glad I found you. I love your pets and your interactions with them 😻
Welcome to the channel! I'm so glad you're enjoying it - especially my crazy fur babies! Right now Licorice is LOUDLY snoring right next to me! 🐶🐶
Your cats are gorgeous
Thank you! They keep us on our toes, that's for sure!
Good morning, Kris. Watching your latest vlog is a great way to start my day!
I'm so glad to hear it! Thank you for saying so! ❤❤
Fun haul and love the floral arrangement you made. It really complements the colors in the planter.
Thank you! I'm definitely enjoying the added color in the room!
Looks like a hanging mail holder to me.
That would make sense - and probably work really well!

Very nice finds! 👍
Thank you so much! It was fun to find some different things!
Yay another video 😊
I'm glad you enjoyed it! ❤❤
There is the Bristol Bazaar but I’m not sure if it the right type of setting you’re looking for.
Thanks for the tip - I'll definitely check it out! I really enjoy hearing about new places.
You would think the cashier would be sympathetic to you loosing your wallet.
