I have this flail mower with hammer blades on my Kubota L4760 and it cuts really nice. The side shift gets the mower under trees and close to fence. Big improvement over my JD rotary mower.
You should setup one of your tractors with a front pto and 3 point, I think this would be a great setup, I've commented multiple times on ttwt about he should do a setup like that, I think you would get a ton of views and product inquiries.
WTH I thought you were going to let us know if the B2650 handled it, or if you did need to move down to the 60" or 5 ft.? How about some info if it worked or handled it in most scenarios.
So the purpose of a brush hog is to tackle brush/woody material. A flail mower is for mostly grass. Its a bit misleading to say that one beats another. Just saying.

I'd like to try the flail you used on your 1025R on my X740.
I still can't understand why the front 3PH and PTO concept is not embraced by North American manufacturers. Seems like a no brainer to me.

The spanish brand Niubo makes them better i have a heavy duty on my John deere 4720 it side shifts and open at the back!!! the steel is thicker.
